As I mentioned on the last page, it's odd that no questions were asked about him or Nunez. I'm sure one, if not both, will somehow make Sunday's squad.
-
I see you answered your own question. We should get a clearer picture tomorrow.
-
I'm sure they'll still want to win something to send Klopp of in style. This is probably there best chance in doing so. I believe he wasn't asked about either of them, so tomorrow's selection will be telling.
-
That's a severely weakened XI. If we can't take advantage of it, we aren't going to be ending our poor run in finals anytime soon.
-
I don't even know you'll be starting for them if all these injuries are confirmed. However, they had a "nobody" at RB at Anfield and look what he did.
-
Salah is supposedly out until early March. If so, more and more things seem to be going in our favour.
-
There's a time to do that. On another day, we come away with nothing, and who would that be down to? Also, he threw away two potential subs. Was that part of the plan too? I agree. However, they have failed to beat any of the top six this season (only earned two points prior to today's game), so it puts a slight dent on something we've failed to do in a while.
-
These VAR decisions have somehow gone in our favour. Undefeated against City after 7 defeats in a row prior to this season. Progress.
-
No one is blaming or are disgruntled with the players. The issue is with Poch thinking this is a CFC side from 04-06.
-
We didn't need to bring another defender on and invite pressure. Best form of defence is to attack. Mudryk & Madueke rotting on the bench. A coward's approach. These are such moments that set managers apart.
-
Five at the back with 20 minutes remaining, and Poch has used all the sub windows (only brought on three players). Why on earth change something that was working? Nkunku and Enzo/Jackson moment.
-
We've had countless chances to wrap this game up. It's almost like the game at the Bridge, but both sides are struggling to score.
-
The play from Palmer to get by his man.... We have to get a second soon, if we want to win.
-
If we continue to play smart, we'll have more and more chances to punish City when they push for an equaliser. Their high line is asking for trouble.
-
We FINALLY punish them. That backheel from Jackson was class.
-
If he's smart, he'll reject them. He's already done his bit in Ligue 1, and he expressed his desire to play in the PL. If our board is willing to meet Napoli's valuation, I can only see him joining us.
-
When did this become a thing? I thought the new CL set up meant fifth place was the intentional target. I'm sure the exit fee will be the same regardless of when it happens. If we're being sensible and not stupid (reappointing Mou or Conte), an interim manager wouldn't be the worst thing considering how it's worked out in the past.
-
Exactly! 11 players play against another 11 players. A prime example of that was the game at the Bridge, where we were arguably unlucky not to come away with all three points. If we aren't building towards anything in terms of style or momentum, what's he still doing here?
-
It won't mean much if we get torn apart against City, though. We actually need to build on something if our board has any faith in the man they appointed as the long-term answer.
-
It felt like Palace were our bogey side not so long ago. That was our thirteenth consecutive league win against them, a new club record. That aside, this result covers more cracks. City next will be interesting.
-
The fact we're 24 games into the season and just reclaiming a place in the top half of the table. How expectations have fallen.
-
So jammy! Palmer coolness is second to none. Midfielders banging in goals.
-
As someone else mentioned, Lamps, is that you?
-
It's honestly a revolving door with regards to injuries. Colwill isn't fully fit and has to be called upon.
-
Gallagher with two in two. If he can actually keep this up, his place might make some sense. Look at Poch's celebration, though...
