  1. Both sides aren't exactly filled with great PK takers.
  2. That goal matches the previous record for most goals in the CL quarters, and there's still at least 75 mins left in either game. These ties have certainly delivered.
  3. PSG couldn't beat Dortmund... See how easy it is to flip the narrative. PSG are obviously massive favourites, and for good reason too. Nothing is a certainty in football, though.
  4. How many opportunities did Barcelona have to get the ball cleared? It makes me think of their earlier-season "home" loss to Girona. Mbappe will get the praise, mostly from Madrid, but Barcola was the MOTM. Did you not see who topped their group?
  5. The point you were trying to make is not using them as a model. I quoted the fact that they're "roughly the same side"; they're not. If anything, they're overachieving with a weaker side. I'm sure we'd be thrilled if we were currently in that situation (in a world Palmer was sold for a massive profit).
  6. Oblak hasn't been impressive today. He was arguably at fault for the first two goals (haven't seen the last two).
  7. Or separate the ties like before - two games each week rather than four. It will be interesting to see how the new format will impact things.
  8. It's refreshing to see they're no longer UEFA's darlings.
  9. They lost their best player by a country mile and Guerreiro in the summer. Hardly the same side, tbh.
  10. PSG giving Barca a taste of their own medicine. Barcelona were in complete control not so long ago.
  11. Exactly. Just look at the impact he had within the opening minutes.
  12. Xavi's decision to take Yamal off is looking more and more costly. I still think that's the moment they threw away the tie. Xavi sent off as well.
  13. I was really pleased at the start of the season when there was talk of Lunin potentially being offered as part of the of the payment for Kepa. The former has solidified his place as RM's number 1 now, so that's not happening (I'm not sure if you left him out for that reason).
  14. I'd imagine so. They've had their historic comebacks in the past, so I'm sure he'll at least try to. No away goals certainly works in their favour.
  15. I don't think he has any other choice. Losing three on the bounce would be rather humiliating after all the talk about the quad not so long ago.
  16. Inter are "bang average?" The players I mentioned performed well for a side that has been regulars in either the EL or CL in recent seasons. If they'd joined us, I'm sure they'd have been sufficient additions rather than a number of the recent expensive acquisitions.
  17. Atalanta has had some great potential buys for a few seasons now (Mahele, Muriel, Gosens, to name a few). Koopmeniners, Ederson, & Scalvini look the most interesting out of their current bunch.
  18. Watkins is another good option. Goals shouldn't be an issue. We can only hope this sort of nonsense won't happen again now that he's finally been vocal and taken a stance.
  19. "Potentially." Let's not talk about hypotheticals.
  20. Only me or almost the entire forum? 🤔 If you're happy with a coward leading the team, kudos to you.
  21. Why would his actions have any impact on me? Odd comment
  22. You make a statement. If Mou or Conte were in charge, they'd probably have been hauled off.
  23. Players fighting on the pitch ahead of a cup semi is nothing to worry about.... It shows there's no discipline at all. Poch isn't going to do diddly squat. He'll probably gloss over it during the post match interview as well. Did you not see him fighting to take another one more recently (might have been in the FA Cup).
  24. If we weren't plagued by injuries. he probably would have left.
