  1. Both sides summed up. United similar to us whilst Liverpool strike whilst the iron is hot.
  2. His exploits with the youth NT are worth noting. Of course, you'd know more about his time prior to joining us to most.
  3. In all fairness, if Sterling wasn't playing (as mentioned above), we'd probably be going into HT with a four goal lead. Poch needs to take him to wherever in the summer.
  4. What an assist from Palmer. Poch getting saved again. It's still be a dreadful second half from us.
  5. I can't give Sterling any credit, even for that assist. A dire 45 mins from him
  6. Lets hope he can build on this performance.
  7. Life comes at you fast. 😄 If he can improve on his finishing, he will be an asset.
  8. I wrote one thing while thinking of another, so thanks for the correction. What I meant to say was that he's started that many games at Burnley and played for the entirety of the match. That aside, we need to come to terms that "top club" and Chelsea don't go together at this moment in time; just look at half of the players that are regulars. If he manages to hit double figures during his brief spell, there should be no question he deserves a chance, provided we don't spend big on Osimhen, etc. Once again, how can you fail if you're never given a proper chance? Strasbourg are fighting for their lives, yet he's seemingly not good enough, in your opinion. If a player in their mid teens plays 49 games in just over a year and then is called up to the SENIOR Brazilian NT, I'd like to think there's something about him that these two clubs haven't noticed other than his lack of ability.
  9. He joined Forrest when they were in dire need of midfielders, and within weeks of him joining, they brought several other midfielders with much more experience than him. A relegation candidate isn't going to throw a youngster in with no benefit to their own cause. Just look at Fofana's two loan spells this season; he started one league game in Germany while he's already started five games for Burnley in a much harder league. Is he suddenly "good enough" now, or has he just been given a chance to show what he can offer? I really don't know how Santos' career will unfold over the next few years; however, the reasoning you've provided for his lack of game time doesn't suffice. If he had gone to Portugal in the summer, he would have certainly been in a better position than he is now.
  10. For a side fighting relegation in France? I'm sure that isn't the case. More like another stupid transfer decision. Screams "feeder club". If that's his intention, sell us and stick to Strasbourg.
  11. Just look at the situation with Santos. He joined a club our owners OWN and still isn't playing. With every passing day, I wish for the club to be sold.
  12. The fact that this fee was part of the loan deal to begin with says everything. Can this club not send players to teams where they are very likely to play?
  13. Yeah. Win that, and we go up to 8th. Hopefully, weekend results go our way as well.
  14. Always got to make things harder for ourselves. Just look at Cucu's "determination" gift Newcastle some hope. That aside, we close the gap to tenth place (actually sad to think about). Mudryk done enough to start on Sunday?
  15. That's the ability Mudryk possess. Lighting strikes for him against Newcastle. Relived Mr Greedy hasn't cost us more points this season.
  16. Almost deja vu to Brentford. Enzo, Disasi, and Gusto. Down tools once we've score for no reason at all.
  17. Gusto is always involved in the positive parts of our game.
  18. That XI doesn't inspire me with any hope. I guess a draw will be some what of a positive result.
  19. We didn't exactly sell players that were tearing it apart here, despite their exploits in a club competition. Of the players we lost recently, Rudi is the only one we should be regretting (seemingly thanks to Marina's handywork). The owners, on the other hand, are so out of touch where football is concerned that it's sad.
  20. I'm sure he'll hit double figures before the season ends. If you watched the Liverpool match, he was constantly getting in good positions but failed to capitalise. I guess the latter solely depends on what we have planned for the summer window. Ah, okay. I personally think he could be a good impact sub to have at the very least for a year or so, and we could reassess him. I'm still on board with the Osimhen talk for the right price, but we shouldn't be touching Toney.
  21. I'd be very surprised if either of them were to go back to France. It would just halt their careers, tbh.
  22. I'd rather see the latter win it. Always funny watching Arsenal defying the odds of being the only side to not win the title after leading at Christmas.
  23. Barely? He's scored three times in 7 games and assisted in another. It better than most of our attacking players.
