He has no backbone. Talk of Poch being disciplinary during his time at Southampton, but there's clearly no sign of that here. Another issue with having only one CF. I still can't believe Jackson, of all people, was fighting to take a PK. He was hiding when Senegal needed him in Ivory Coast.
-
There's always someone shitting on the parade. Jackson and Madueke should be ashamed. Where's Silva, tbh?
-
I was thinking the same after United. However, this is Everton after all.
-
A comfortable win? We're not used to this anymore.
-
I'm definitely going to reserve judgement for another season or two (if we're lucky), but talk of him being their De Bruyne could actually be true. It's crazy to think he has a real possibility of winning the golden boot, too. Who said we need a striker? 😄
-
I hate to break it to you, but I'm sure that's exactly who it will be. The board loves "exciting prospects" and seems to completely ignore the here & now in their thinking. There was talk about us being linked to Nagelsmann again. Enough of this project nonsense; it is becoming embarrassing.
-
Echoing what Lucio said, I don't think he chose them specifically. I'd imagine a few EPL were interested in him, and seeing as Forrest likes to throw money around, they offered the most, and the rest is history.
-
A quick search said both Milan sides were interested in him. Let's not forget about the rumoured Barcelona interest. For arguments sake, they were all interested in him, including both Portuguese giants; it doesn't take a football fanatic to know where he'd most likely play the most.
-
I heard rumours about Porto being interested in him (I wasn't aware Sporting were too) and thought a move to Portugal would have been perfect as it would have been easier to adjust, which you alluded to too. It appears that whoever agrees to these loan deals either has little knowledge of football or is solely motivated by money; just look at Broja's loan terms.
-
So much for him "not being good enough." He was never given a chance at Forrest, so his loan spell was always destined to fail.
-
He was too cocky. That starting XI was disrespectful to Atalanta. It was nice to see a former blue on the scoresheet, too. His time at Inter (even though is was short) certainly damaged his reputation.
-
I think he actually likes Poch, tbh. It has more to do with our performances on the pitch that would see him leave, and rightfully so.
-
It's a hard one. Previous temp managers have had a quick effect that resulted in silverware (FA Cup isn't out of reach), but they've faltered down the line. However, I don't trust this board to make an astute appointment, so 1 day or 1 decade wouldn't make much difference, tbh. I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm not sure the position he ended up playing (LWF and Gallagher went central?). In any case, I questioned the change right away, and it ended up having a huge influence on us dropping two more points.
-
We've failed to beat two sides that will almost certainly be in the Championship next season. What else does this board need to see before taking action?
-
Southgate will be loyal to players regardless of how they're playing, if at all. Maguire & Henderson are probably two names on the team sheet that really should have no place in going to Germany.
-
It's certainly been a long time coming. Sheffield Utd need the points, so we know what to expect. 😄
-
They, or Palmer? Prior to the match winner, we blew a 4-5 on 1, IIRC. One massive plus is that we finally have a goal-scoring midfielder again.
-
He needed the sack weeks ago. It will in Poch's mind. He'll have something to talk about, "the character"....
-
Ice Cole has kept Poch in a job. My emotions are all over the place because of what it means.
-
I definitely wouldn't say he's made use of all the players at his disposal or used them correctly. The sad reality is that it all stems from the top. I agree. Just have a look at Poch's changes?
-
You can't be serious? Enzo/Caicedo & Disasi/Badi are partnership that clearly aren't working. Who picks the team?
-
Caicedo's mistake to this. Our most experienced player rotting on the bench for reasons unknown to most.
-
It's the bare minimum he can do considering he failed to make a 1m pass. Don't get me started on his miss from point blank range at 2-0.
-
Dalot is taking Palmer done for fun and is getting away with it. Disasi is having another mare too.
-
Both sides are an utter mess. To think this used to be a title decider not long ago.
