I totally disagree. With the prices going around for average players, that would be decent price for a top class defender. Not only was he the best defender in Italy last season, he was also the top scoring CB and maybe even defender. With the way the market is now, he would be a quality signing.

We would all like Chelsea to win the quadruple, but in all seriousness; we have to win the league at the very least IMO. It is probably the easiest title to win, and we weren't far off winning it this season without a consistent number 9. Anything else would be icing on the cake really.

Didn't we produce, Blackman, Bertand, Mcchearen, Baker, etc?They might not make a name at Chelsea, but we do produce DECENT English talent. The only English player of note that has been produce and is World class is, Rooney.
