I personally believe there isn't a better manager out there, but he needs to expand his gameplay. Defensive tactics can only take you so far. They have almost no use in games like today.
We need to try and bounce back from recent home defeats. Also, the title is still a possibility. Look at Barca last night. ANYTHING can happen from now till next week.
I totally agree with you. Everytime I see him play for Brazil, he seems to be a world beater. He has the talent to be one of the best CB's around, but he loses concentration a bit too often. Also, I love the passion he plays with. A rare thing to see in players nowadays. There should be no talk of getting rid of him at all IMO. Get rid of the dead wood lying around at Cobham.
I would like us to get Vidal, Paulinho, Moreno, Bony/Lacazette (If we offload two of our current CF's), and possible Calhanoglu. Torres and Mikel should be the only ones heading for the exit from the top of my head.
Looks like Costa to Chelsea is a done deal. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zone/2014/05/02/4789621/done-deal-diego-costa-agrees-to-35m-chelsea-move
Even though Hazard has performed well this season, he hasn't turned up in the CL IMO. Mourinho is right and wrong with his assessment. He is right to expect more from Hazard, but wrong to make it public.
Benfica get to another EL final. I am sure it will be their year this year, but Sevilla shouldn't be underestimated. Shame Chelsea didn't get to another European final this year. It would have been weird having the two EL finialist from last year in finals again the this season.
I agree with what you have said, but the teams you have mentioned have built their current teams over the last few seasons. Mourinho is trying to build a team for instant success. That is the difference.
