We are not going to be signing anymore expensive CDM, you know why? Because we got the fricking Ramires, who is a beast as he shown yesterday. Yes he doesn't make 5 tackles per game like Witsel, but his pace and energy more than make up for it. Wait until he breaks his legs/run out of lungs then we can sell him and sign Witsel or whoever, but for the next 2 years he WILL BE OUR NO1 AT CDM ALONG WITH MATIC. Like I said, the only signings now are gonna be a top class LB like Shaw and striker like Costa/Cavani/Shrek. Otherwise it would be youngsters like Atsu who we don't need, gonna sign them, loan them and eventually sell them to make money.

But it is not like we are gonna beat all the other teams. We are favorite cause of our fixture but in 6 days we could be dropping 2 more points when the Bar Codes park it. So plenty more twist to come imo

Diego Costa for £32m IS A MUST MUST MUST HAPPEN. Or Rooney for £25m/Cavani £50m is OK too but I prefer the 1st option. Costa isn't fat and isn't a cunt who is money grabbing like Shrek. He also doesn't have the 'dream of playing for Madrid', I could always see Cavani fucking off from his club 1 day when Madrid come calling. Shaw for £25-£30m is also a must, especially if Cole leaves(which he will imo). Sorted that for next 15 years? Maybe Ricardo R of Worfsburg if Shaw or Soton refuses to move And the rest is spare change, don't really need anything else imo. Got enough impact subs like Salah, Schurrle now. GK sorted, even if Cortoius leaves. RB sorted, CB with Zouma now sorted. CDM DEFINITELY SORTED WITH MATIC and others. CAM is not even debatable. ST is a MUST. So we could spend 60m in the summer on those 2 and that is all I want. Along with recalling Courtois, Lukaku. But I have real fears that we might sell both of them well I wouldn't worry about Lukaku because Costa would sort us for the next 5 years anyway while Lukaku seems not good enough for a club like our. But I would be gutted if Courtois leaves, one of the best GK in the world atm. Actually I would prefer us to sell Cech if it means keeping him. Promise to be a good summer imo, but expect 1-2 big departures. Cole, Lukaku, Courtois and even Luiz(hopefully not now) could be sold. Also I wouldn't be surprised if Lampard isn't given a new contract if he picks up a long term injury in the next few weeks to the end of the season.

So did West Ham, tbf I am worry if those bar codes come and park it. We are AMAZING at counter attack but when we get to dominate we don't often do well. Messi doesn't hate Israel though Would be a huge facepalm if Mikel somehow starts this one again. I think we should go all out attack, they aren't the same without Remy and Cabaye. Ba probably not because I think he is useless, Eto'o might misses chances but he is much faster and better involved in the game. Willian need a rest imo, virtually ran like 85 mins yesterday, Salah or Schurrle will probably start. Hazard and Oscar are a must. Matic as well, Luiz or Lampard to partner him.

Got the speed of Ronaldo but missing his finishing skill.

In a way I think we should all feel sorry for him. He is a REALLY NICE GUY in person, a great player(not among the best in the world yet and probably never will be) but a really good player who can play really well when on form and GOT THE TEAM BUILT AROUND HIM. 6 months ago after the rumors of Jose going back, we could all imagine Jose making him the spear head, the heart of his new team like he did with Ozil but the exact opposite happens and 5 months later he was sold. If you ask someone at that moment in time would you take Jose or Mata, I am sure the majority would have said the latter. But now if Jose decides to sell Hazard, I would have no objection to that BECAUSE THE MAN KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING AND HE WILL BRING IN REPLACEMENT. It just shows that no matter how good of a player you got, if he doesn't fit into the manager's plan he is as good as useless as we found out with Mata. But in a sense it must be disheartening for him, yes it is not his fault that he cannot change his style. If your owner wants to buy a rhino instead of a bull then you just pretty much have to agree with him, no matter how strong the bull or how hard it has worked for you over the year. From potentially challenging for multiple BPL, CL and cups to now probably fighting for 4th every season. Yes he gets a lot of money more(double his wages apparently) but he loses pretty much everything else. MU doesn't even plan to build the team around him with Shrek and Injury prone Persie up top. He is in that right side again where I don't think he likes or practically effective at. So tough luck to him, but I really can't disagree with Jose, one of the best manager in modern history. In 20 years we would be looking at him and say how lucky we had him, just like MU who are now in rapid decline thought after Sir Alex retired.

Maybe for once value for money signing? Kind of ironic that one of Benfica's best player eventually comes to us for a OK fee and impresses while load of other more epensive players but don't perform as well for bigger teams.
-
One downside though, wtf happened to his free kick? At least hit the target or over the wall man.
-
3rd best in the league atm behind cunt cannibal Suarez and Cunt Aguero. But he isn't dirty or injury prone like those 2 so he got potential to be consistent more even though the cannibal works his sock off every game. Imagine getting that dude in this team, fucking hell games like tonight would end like 5-0 to us.
-
Best thing about this match? We have FINALLY FOUND THE PERFECT FORMULA AWAY FROM HOME AGAINST BIG TEAMS. Time to test it against Liverpool away.
-
The last time I am gonna criticize him for a long time now. Best performance from him to make up for that Basel cock up. Yes some how he makes annoying unnecessary cautious like the West Ham game but on big occasions he IS ALWAYS UP TO IT. Dortmund aside last season his Madrid side had been tactically perfect in almost every game as well. BEST MANAGER IN THE WORLD, closely followed by Diego Simione atm then Ancelotti. With David Moyes crying at the bottom.
-
Maybe he still has a future at Chelsea based on performances like tonight.

Will any youngsters make it at Chelsea anymore?
duo11bluecl replied to duo11bluecl's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
OK lets look realistically at which position a youngster could break through GK: Not a chance. Courtois will replace Cech or Cech will stay no1 for a really long time RB: Ivan is aging but still solid and defenders usually play until they are really old, Dave is quite young. Very hard for Wallace to break through CB: Zouma is definitely a starter in the near future, Terry is old but he will probably stay at least 2 more years. Then we got Cahill who are also quite reliable and Luiz too if he is still a Chelsea player by next season LB: The only chance foe anyone to break through with Cole will probably leave in the summer. But then Bertrands was thought to be his replacement and he is not good enough to be a starter for us, so expect us to sign someone like Shaw instead of promoting PVA...etc CDM: Matic will stay there FOR A LONG TIME. Ramires maybe a few more years until his legs run out, by then he would be virtually useless and will probably be sold. Lampard probably got 2 year max here, Mikel will ALWAYS BE A SUB. So chance for maybe 1 player to break through if they are REALLY GOOD. I would say Romeu got the best chance really. The likes of Josh...etc will never make it here when they are not even impressive in Championship CAM: Nothing to say here. Our current 3 will remain so for A REALLY REALLY LONG TIME. Especially with Schurrle and Salah backing up. No one will ever get in ST: Just never gonna promote one of youth never. Unless they come on and score a last min winner on their debut. We WILL SIGN A TOP CLASS STRIKER like Costa in the summer. Lukaku will probably be sold because he already sort of fuck up his relationship with Jose and don't think he fits our style under Jose. So there you go, virtually not a single chance for any youngster in the future. Maybe a CDM but that will be it. -
Fav can always change though, at 1st Pepe was undroppable but then eventually it all fell apart. Same with Casillas. All it takes is 1 incident and the player is finished at Chelsea as a result like A Cole and his partying with Arsenal last Xmas. Now he probably won't get a new contract. Same could happen next season, maybe Courtois perform better than Cech in the 1st few rounds of rotation and Cech starts to moan. Jose would then sell him straight away in Jan if needed. Before you start having a go at me, just making it up and imagining it. Can't see it happen as Cech is too nice, maybe if he had to he would accept his role like Terry and Lampard under Rafa and AVB. But I think Cortouis could be making a big mistake if he thinks he will walk in the team because he is good(which he is). Jose won't allow that to happen. He isn't afraid to do anything.
-
Actually with our defence so solid atm I don't think a world class GK gonna change much. Well they would be useful against teams like City, Barca...etc but then again most of the time in the league we shut up shop after going in front anyway. And if getting rid of him is a must to get Costa then it should be done. But I prefer us to pay money for Costa and keep Courtois, probably then sell Cech.
-
Atletico Madrid is just too good fucking hell. Scoring at will and top of BBVA, only 1 goal behind Barca in goal difference and 3 points ahead. They are Dortmund last season but less attacking and MUCH MORE SOLID AT THE BACK. And their league form isn't dodgy and still leading despite having 2 Bayern in the league. If we meet them it is gonna be hard, they defend just as well as us and attack is really good.
-
He is as good as a Chelsea player now, unless he broke his leg next week and rule out for 6 months or something. This guy is just too good and his work rate is AMAZING like Suarez, they were 3-0 up with like 5 mins to go and he was still making runs. Actually think about it if Cavani is 55m, Falcao 50m...etc then this guy at 32m is a bargain. He will BE OUR PLAYER IN THE SUMMER. Can#t wait to see him banging them in for us. Oh and also his ego is Mourinho equivalent on the field, he argues with ref all the time. About time we got someone at ST instead of a retired African legend, disable knee crappy dude or a blonde who is stealing for a living.

This is a genuine question that got me thinking lately. Will any of the youngsters that we bought from very early age(16-19) for low fees or got no hype like Zouma, Courtois making it into the 1st team here? Nowadays if we need anymore, we just go out and buy them, we don't really get youngsters from academy/on loan to step up. We need a CB, so we go and sign Zouma. We need a LB, we will probably go and sign Shaw. We need a mid, we signed Matic. We need a ST, we will sign Costa/Cavani/Rooney. While our players like Piazon, Feruz, Kalas, Wallace...etc will probably never make it here. Because unless they becomes Messi-like they would likely be not as good as OTHER YOUNGSTERS IN EUROPE such as Zouma, Mangala, Shaw, Matic...etc Players like Troure will also really unlikely to make it here no matter how you look at it. The days of Terry will probably never happen again, unless we lower our expectations for trophies/seasons which will not be tolerated because we are now one of the best club in the world. The likes of Lukaku, Courtois who are already considered world class in their age also faces a fight to make it here, there are even rumors going around that they would be sold in the summer(really hope it is bs but we don't know with Jose in charge) So do any of you see this trench changing or will it keep developing? Will any of OUR youngsters like Josh, Feruz...etc ever make it into the team at Chelsea?
-
At the end of the day it is not just down to his on field performance but off field ideas as well. He is definitely a useful player for us, but with his value atm being 30m min and him being used sparingly by Jose, is this worth it to keep him? As we seen with Mata, who is at the very peak atm, that players who got no use for Jose(or very little) will get sold, especially if they are worth big bucks. 6 years ago sure Luiz would never be sold until he wants out, but now with all these FFP craps we actually need to think about economical reasons as well. So the question is not whether we should sell Luiz but whether IT IS WORTH IT TO KEEP HIM IN TERM OF THE SITUATION. I mean we don't find a lot of expensive players like him and Mata sitting around for important games yet still worth big bucks. At the end of the season, unless he suddenly becomes indispensable. I could see Jose selling him tbf. Not because he hates him, but just that he cannot afford to have someone like him sitting on the bench and us needing money to sign other more useful players to Jose like Shaw and Costa.

By holding the ball up it doesn't just mean standing still and keeping the ball, while waiting for other players to make run then past. Anyone can do that, actually that is like the really basic for a good football player. But it is like Drogba, sort of bully defenders, head the ball down, keep the ball by shielding it...etc and Hazard just isn't suited to that no matter how you look at it. He is more suited to running at other players and get them to challenge him. And fair enough about Aguero but even then City play 2 strikers and same in Argentina team, because usually if he is alone in attack of a 4-3-3 formation it won't work as well. Actually did he ever played alone role? At Madrid he had Forlan, Argen got Higuain, Messi, Tevez, City he had Tevez, Negredo, Dzeko...etc And Hazard doesn't have strength mate to be honest, usually half harden challenge and he would fall over. Most of the time it is a foul for us so it is all good. But you will just never see him beating a player at shoulder to shoulder challenge, it is just his way of playing and style. Btw I am not criticizing him in anyway, he is our best player atm by a mile. Just pointing out his weaknesses relating to this argument.
-
No offense to any of you but Hazard have as much chance of ever becoming a successful false 9 as Cleverly. 1st of all the basic thing required for a good ST/CF is to HOLD THE BALL UP for team mates, Hazard is fantastic at dribbling and keeping it from opponents when doing so but a half shoulder challenge and he falls over like a fish jumping into water. I am not saying this is a bad thing, it could be a good thing as opponents might sometime get sent off or we get free kicks like we saw with Vidic a few weeks ago. But these are the reasons why he will never make it as a CF. He is not like Rooney, who is not afraid to go all in tackling or get small bump and roll around. Unless Hazard undergoes Ronaldo transformation and become all muscular in the summer, it just won't happen. Furthermore his finishing is good but no where near the level required at a top club like Chelsea. Remember that Juve game away when he and Mata should have scored 3 between them, ended up with 0. And lastly O don't think he is suited to that central role, he likes to dribble and this is better suited on the wing. The only exception to this rule is Messi like someone above said, but that is because he is a player that is born once every 100 years. It is not a coincidence that he is already considered the best player in history at the age of like 26-27.
-
Unless he plays well at CDM or Mou switch to 4-3-3 permanently, there is just no place for him here.
-
City have to lose 2 and because of superior goal difference- draw or lose another game while we need to win all the remaining games. Possible? yes. Probable? No. A City team that destroy teams for fun is gonna lose 2-3 games for the remaining period of the season? Not a chance.
-
Scores the winner on Monday and I don't care if he sucks for the next 2 years, he would virtually pay back all his fee in that moment.
-
On their day facing the best team with all their players: Barca: Valdes Alves Pique Mass Alba Xavi Iniesta Biscuit Neymar Messi Sanchez Bayern: Neuer Lahm Dante Boateng Alaba Sweisght Gotze Thiago/Kroos/Mueller Robben Mandzukic Ribery Madrid: Lopez/Casillas Aberloa Ramos Varane Marcelo Alonso Modric Isco Ronaldo Benzema Bale Chance of wining by going toe to toe? 0.0001%. Even if we got our full strength squad, so yes it will always be a massive factor in football. For example if City had managed to keep everyone of their top player like Aguero fit for every game, they may well be like 10 points clear by now. And like I already mentioned, if we go toe to toe with City here we will get destroyed or at least lose. Liverpool tried this and nearly worked but eventually lose anyway, Arsenal tried this and got destroyed. Barca will have a very hard time in 2 weeks as well when go there even with Neymar, Messi. And you shouldn't pay too much attention to what Mou says. He only said it to deflect the pressure onto himself away from the players. Like his park the bus comment yesterday, even the die hard Chelsea fans have to agree it is hypocritical at its finest. He said we shouldn't challenge for title, despite spending the most in Europe? not the most but certainly in top 3-4 spending teams. City bought the likes of Fernandinho, Negredo. Lets not pretend Willian or Matic costs nothing. Actually I think the best scenario would be City going up in like the 2nd min like they did 3 years ago when we played them under AVB. Then Jose would just have to force the team to attack, because a lost means title is definitely over for us. And believe me Jose really wants us to be in there, don't think he will settle for 3rd/4th place like he said. If that is the case Roman would have never brought him back because we were already on course to do that under RDM, Rafa anyway.
