Agreed, people seem to forget that Klopp went through the same shit last season. The only difference is that Klopp handled the media way better than Mourinho did, or the German media isn't as insidious as the English are.

I voted Undecided not because I'm on the fence but I believe he deserves to keep the job until the end of the season. Klopp got to keep his at Dortmund and only left because he wanted to. He brought us bucketload of titles and accomplishments, as well as elevating a lot of our players into legends. He deserves a chance to not only save his career but bring this club(which he loves) out of trouble. On the other hand, if let's say in January we don't go out and rectify our squad issues and he keeps playing Ivanovic in poor form, he's obviously looking to get sacked.

As funny as that gif is, I did have a feeling of remorse for laughing at his state right now. He's an absolute joke, yes but he was one of our best big game players over the past few years. His legacy at our club is being reduced to a joke and I'm sure he still doesn't know what hit him. Jose should "protect" him like he does with our young players.

I know there are deeper problems with the squad with almost every player out of form. But ffs, get your head out of the sand, Jose. Teams have a template against us now because of our glaring weakness. When you keep playing that weak link, teams will have more confidence against us. The uncertainty starts at one position and spreads throughout our defense making it chaotic. If he can't identify that problem, he has to go. I think the real question is, how many games will we allow for him to turn this around? Will we do a Dortmund who stuck it out with Klopp(and lost CL football) or will Roman do what we all expect him to do?

Great going forward but defensively suspect. Who needs a fullback that can attack, cross, shoot and score blinders once in a while. R.Carlos won't be able to take the goal-kick punt to the head which is our patented move. Azpi as LB and the one-footed R.Carlos as RB, that would be fun to watch.

I was just watching a DVD of our 2012/2013 season review. Ivanovic was immense that season and he played in CB for most of the part. Surely he can't get any worse in that position as well?

Don't get me wrong, I love Ivanovic as much as the next Chelsea fan does. But he's a major part of the reason why opposing teams are confident attacking us. Yes, it's not his fault for the team selection and our off-field shenanigans(both are Jose's fault) but he is identified by opponents as our major weak link. There's nothing personal against him but it seems that he gets a free pass from Jose when other players like Remy, Schurrle, KDB get exiled for less. Again, the above is not his fault but it's a tad annoying when he comes out and says the team needs to fight etc etc when he's the one making mistakes.

He can't beat Ivanovic though. The hands tied behind my back act is gold. It's like watching Gallagher smashing melons.

Last season when we were playing poor particularly after the Spurs drubbing, I remember Cahill was called to be dropped by many and eventually Zouma got his chance on a few occasions. Cahill was recalled yes, but at least his performance improved a tad bit. I think Iva is at the point of no return as a top flight full-back, Jose is being too patient with him, when he's guilty of being impatient with other members of the squad(particularly youngsters). I really hope Jose can give Baba a chance at LB with Azpi at RB. I'm sure there will be improvement (we cant get any worse) and it'll open his eyes once and for all that we need proper fullbacks back in their correct/natural positions. I honestly don't mind Ivanovic at CB, he did alright in our 12-13 season when Rafa was in charge. If he has to be involved it will have to be back at centre of defense. The best way to move forward as a club is Jose coming to his senses and we get closure on the whole back-room incidents with Eva. Jose brought us our best years and if anyone deserves more time and opportunity to turn this mess around, it's him. Heck, Klopp was given the whole season with Dortmund and they came out looking better as club despite Klopp(his decision) leaving in the end.
