This is not a video game, Jason. The big clubs of Europe are real.
-
I would rather not be playing CL right about now. Rest is better. I see zero benefit in CL for Chelsea right now. Keep the momentum by staying fit and rested.
-
Nice to know we're not going down. How about we see more of these fullbacks? Happy, happy for Traore!
-
There's absolutely nothing left to discuss with this club and this season at this point. Better off waiting until August. Clueless shambles.
-
Bravo! All correct! A new CM who knows how to run a midfield and a different fullback setup. Should put in bids for Gundogan and Kouyate (Hammers) ASAP (and get the manager committed soon).
-
Should be time to try the right back at right back. Watford have more box-to-box MFs than Chelsea. What is this? Hiddink thinks it's not worth trying a different lineup? Outings like this inspire zero confidence for the players, Guus. And the fans feel sickened. Pathetic, but I'm not blaming the players. Blame the organization and the management for not setting this club up to win. CFC, the club that takes on no venture. Shrinking away.

our new CM, JT XD
-
Wow, CM and fullback... FC Shite 'n Crap. What are we watching?
-
meanwhile we didn't try to buy a CM nor another FB. Manager needs to stop it with the Azpi LB business.
-
Play with two strikers. Clearly our CM isn't going to offer any advantage even while we're playing every one of them in the squad except Ruben. Or, as someone said above, put Hazard on for Mikel.
-
Just call him "Too Late Jobi." I mean, WTF is his mental problem? Never a top CM/DM. GTFO.
-
1. How is it that a newly-promoted side look better at marking and pressing the ball than Chelsea? 2. What the hell are you good for, Jon Obi? FFS. For a brief time, the match was looking kind of good and that all disappeared.

None of us know what could happen if campaign finance were changed along with imposed term limits and other restrictions. All we keep is hearing underneath (or above) all the noise is: "no, we cannot change beyond the status quo." And, unless you're confused about what the status quo is, it's still Reaganomics in the Age of Big Business and global neo-liberalism, welfare for the rich, rugged individualism for the poor (call it all the "20th century Petrol Jeezus Economy of Worshipping Money and the Rich (and false hopes)." My suggestion is stop passively accepting what we are told is "pragmatic" and "possible," and metaphorically get off your knees, join with fellow working people regardless of race, and demand a better standard of living without fear of the Other or taboos like.... ohhhhhh, >socialism<. I like this quote from the back of the latest Ferguson book: "My job was to make everyone understand that the impossible was possible. That's the difference between leadership and management." Passive consumerism and more "management" of the neo-liberal status quo will only result in more stagnating and falling wages, with the majority having little or zero capital ownership. I'll leave it with this:

Oscar gets into the lineup based on the idea that he and Costa can develop more synergy, I think. I'd rather see Kenedy too. Anyway, the match is worth seeing because Ruben and Baba are playing.
-
I've forgotten where dear Kalas has gone.
-
I've no idea what this signing means, but Chelsea need more along their spine to stay out of serious trouble.
-
Marquinhos, Berahino, Gundogan, Kouyate. Remy to Newcastle. Done. A++
-
considering we have Matic, Mikel, Oscar, Fab and RLC as our CMs, seems likely someone else is coming in. right???
-
I am curious to see which club has been the your best club of this season thus far. For me, I'm saying Spurs because they've been strong week after week regardless of their lineup and Pochettino has integrated about --NINE-- different young players into the rotation/regular lineup (including Kane). The other two clubs worth mentioning are Southampton and Leicester. Leicester is an obvious choice, but Soton have persisted this year despite much of their side being bought up by other PL clubs in the past few years; they're still firmly in the PL top 10. One must wonder what brains are behind the club called "Southampton FC." Who's getting poopsticks for the season so far? Chelsea, ManUtd and Everton (and probably Crystal Palace too). Whose season is still 50:50 at this point? Arsenal, ManCity, Stoke, maybe West Ham.
-
suspense.... will chelsea acquire a new CM or fullback along with Pato?
-
I'm guessing Neves appears to be a great future star for those of you who've watched him, but why not just grab one proven PL star like Kouyate from the Hammers and one proven midfield maestro, Gundogan from Dortmund? Barkley's a good call, but I think his price will be very inflated compared to the two I just mentioned and IMO we need box-to-box CMs, a CB and fullback quality and depth more than anything in this squad. I suppose Barkley would fit in regardless. Very hard to take that guy off the ball and that's something everyone wants.
-
amazing if we actually buy a CM now, or something else we need. You can't cram every signing this club needs in one summer window. Get started.
-
That's correct. 90s.
-
If Gundo comes to my 2nd club, I'll be happy when a 2ND top CM is also purchased by Chelsea because he alone isn't going to solve Chelsea's lack in CM. Certainly a step in the right direction for Chelsea though. If chelsea do not buy him, I still think he's going to a top club, so I'd rather the Blues take him ASAP. In a somewhat disappointing world of football at this moment (I can't watch Eredivisie and I don't watch La Liga), Gundogan is one of my favorite players to see regularly. If this were fantasy football stuff, I would be buying Kouyate and Gundogan now and shipping some of Chelsea's CMs out, pronto!

who is the "younger and forward-thinking" manager being considered by Chelsea --in addition to M. Allegri? I just heard that these two are the top candidates for Abramovich.
