You are forgetting the legendary and almighty Emile Heskey

Wouldn't be surprised if in the next decade they do. English Football has really taken a downhill in promoting youth and has become more of a foreign takeover rather than a league with actual identity. Not to mention English talent now compared to the 90's is not even debatable tbh. The quicker they make a team around Sterling and Barkley the better. The United States have actually got an incentive with the national side and it looks to carry out a bright future.

I think I would actually cry of sheer joy and laughter. Tbh, the only thing that is keeping Cesc from being a world class footballer is his consistency towards the end of the season. Internationally he's been nothing more than a prospect (getting brief but memorable appearances and being heavily overlooked by the likes of Xavi and Iniesta) up until Euro 2012 where he truly identified himself on the national team. The cunt also needs a european crown under his belt.

At this rate his card is for sure getting upgraded.

A future midfield three of Baker, Loftus-Cheek, and Chalobah would be my wettest dream.

Vidal and Benatia didn't want to play in England.

Amazing how a club of United's size have no recognized youth graduates anywhere near the squad.
-
He's been playing at top level since 2009 and has won major honors at club and international level, not to mention he is rarely injured and has been performing at a standard that would be well worthy of a brand of consistency. I fail to understand where you are getting your 'he would be pretty average' if he was at a different club claim when in most cases the brilliance he displays are individual attributes that he sustained. It is so unbelievabley irritating in how many people under rate the holding midfielder role when it is the most crucial in creating a balance within the midfield. Thankfully there are managers and journalists who truly understand the difficulty of that role which is why they praise him so highly. Your claim is a bit far fetched as well. Would Xavi, Scholes, Iniesta be the brilliant players they were if they played on a side that parked the bus? No, you create a style that benefits the squad as a whole and gets the best out of your players. Would be pretty average. That bit made me laugh.

If you're comparing a player who literally has defied a role in similar regards to that of Makelele and has won the world cup/champions league to Nicklas Bendtner, then there really is no need to continue on.

Bollocks. He was just as essential to Barca and Spain's success these past several years as Xavi and Iniesta were. He was the reason Yaya Toure was left out and is the main component in how both Barca and Spain tick. No Busquets, no party.
-
Laughable to suggest that. Nonetheless they are completely different players.
-
I agree this is the perfect chance to give Luis a shot. It's dreadful at times the way Dave can't attack and Hazard can't defend but with Filipe we have a sort of reliance. Oscar needs to start as well. Perfect game for him.
-
Can't believe someone actually mentioned James Rodriguez... I wouldn't say Zlatan, as he has a high tendency of being a big game bottler, especially in the Champions League. Suarez, Falcao. Ronaldo, Messi. Robben, Iniesta, Bastian, Pirlo, Yaya Toure, Busquets, Modric Lahm, Thiago Silva, Hummels, Neuer

I genuinely haven't been this excited about our squad talent since 2006.
-
BUT Can he hack it on a cold Monday night at the Britannia?
-
Any GIF's of that Schurrle Goal?????

A Europa League final, a Copa Del Rey Final, and a League final at the Nou camp to add.

QPR Spurs Liverpool United

Not a great goal scorer, but a scorer of great goals.

More like three seasons ago

It's good to see them blending in aswell, rather seeing the brazilians hanging with the brazilians and the Spanish with the Spanish. We have a very diverse group and it's always a warm feeling when you see them mingle with one another as if they've been friends for years. Great way to build chemistry.
-
Think a main reason is that Barca are blessed with midfielders of his attributes and him leaving over Rakatic (a player of similar ability) isn't a real loss for them. In regards to us, we haven't had a player of his ability and distribution from deep since Makelele and Tiago.

Excited to see Ingo Martinez. Best young centre back out there IMO

Marca absolutely hate Mourinho and provide anything that could potentially unbalance himself or the club he's managing. (How could they possibly access this information before any English journalism?) Wouldn't be surprised if they made this up aswell as the 70% of bollocks they publish about Mourinho.
