That's because it was Eto'o, Torres .and Ba mate. He had every right to be upset when he had so much in his locker to dish out, especially over the likes of those three. Now with 2 potential european champions on the way and constant goal threats, he'd unassumingly understand if he were to play 2nd or third fiddle. He's young and will most undoubtedly get chances

Have to disagree. Zidane was absolutely phenomenal and the only true consistent player in the Galactico era. His elegance on the ball and most of all continuous consistency is what differs him from Iniesta. Me personally, I'd rate Muller and Garrincha ahead of Pele, in some respect Romario. Messi and Maradona are truly in a league by themselves.

What a crock of shite. For over a decade now, there has only been one man who has constantly achieved things across Europe no one else has even close to matched...let that sink in.
-
Juanfran has been better than Carvajal tbf
-
----Lukaku---Costa----- ----------Hazard--------- ----CM-----------Oscar -----------Matic---------- Would be a deadly tactic against the lower clubs that sit back
-
Pedro, Costa, and Negredo are a for sure.
-
He'll definitely add some character and fearless attitude into our squad. Signing of the season so far
-
If the Real Madrid interest in Suarez is true --------------Sturridge----------- Sterling---Coutinho---Lallana
-
Gundogan would be a dream
-
Least we now have a chant for him
-
About fucking time.
-
Bender, a defensive holding midfielder, is partnering Gundogan, a deep lying playmaker. Alonso, a defensive holding midfielder, is partnering Modric, a deep lying playmaker. We have a better defense than both clubs as well.
-
You do know he has suffered a knee injury, correct? Modern fan mentality.
-
A box to box midfielder partnering Matic wouldn't work imo, especially in the system Jose is running. In a system where the source of our transition lies within the central midfield duo, it is crucial to have a holding midfielder with defensive attributes, IE Matic, and most of all, having a player with distribution instincts, (Finding space, working well under pressure, movement off the ball, retrieving the ball and picking the right pass to control the momentum). Jose puts Luiz in the midfield because of the hilarity of Lampard, Ramires, and Mikel's inability to distribute properly from that deep. It's really a sad thing when our best passer in midfield is a centre back naturally. Whether Lampard, Ramires, or Mikel is in that role, you can see us struggle against top opposition, and it is ever so blatant when Oscar continues to drop deep and help lead transition from the attacking midfield spot.
-
And that mentality has come right out of what modern football has become today, instant success, having someone proven or established, never giving any youth a chance that would give this league the much more identity it needs.
-
Source? And why would we get Pogba? I never understood this sudden interest for him in some fans, when we have a gem of a youth product named Chalobah who's potential could be enormous when integrated properly. Isn't that what this club needs? Some identity? Or will we cast him aside like United did with Pogba, (mind you he was less talented than Chalobah currently when he was shipped off). Not to mention we have Romeu coming back, who I think will be a big help for us, and MVG coming back from injury. We need a deep lying play maker more than anything if we are to continue our 4-2-3-1 system.

Would be very bad for Spanish football if Barca win their 5th title in 6 years, either way, welcome to the CL BILBAO
-
Torres still in the squad, we will not win the title. Almost certain of it. Even if Messi and Ronaldo were on our side. Torres' weak mental psyche seems to be effecting any sort of consistency this club needs in order to win the title, and ever since he arrived it has been apparent. Literally a tumor at this club. I bet he's an alright lad, but just a terrible footballer who has completely lost his way and everything that would amount to him actually being labeled as 'quality' again.

Generate Revenue, but a Club Like United's stature, understandable.
-
Shame really. Would have really liked to see Mourinho's old fashioned 4-1-2-1-2 at some point that worked wonders for us 04-07. Seems as if once he was at Madrid, he abandoned it and was so reliant on the 4-2-3-1, never needing his regular 4-1-2-1-2. It would work so well against lower teams that sit back IMO
-
Does this job come with a weekly salary
-
Think Mourinho can be blamed just as much as Pep for not really initiating a plan B when we're being tactically countered. The day Torres leaves this club for good, I will sleep so much better.
-
with the amount we spent, really is disappointing where we have finished, when taking the fiances and under-achievement that has been brought up into account. Transition or not, this club needs stability.
-
Both would benefit this squad with much valuable depth and competition for Oscar. Both are ready to make the next step and having another signing would just ruin their development by them staying at Vitesse.
