  1. No Pique it's not better than Cahill... Can you tell how many teams you know that gave chances consistently to 2 CB with the age of 19 at the same time? For you... we are good with Terry, Cahill, Zouma and a player that doesn't play in Koln. OK.
  2. Yes he is... Fabregas also was shit. And Alexis also. And many others. So... you know Callejon for example, he looked worst than shit in Madrid, never was starter and everyone knew he would go sooner or later (a player 2 steps behind Fabregas or Pique)... and he looks like a super hero playing for Napoli. Playing for Madrid or Barcelona is a completely diferent thing than playing for any other team.
  3. ANother player that we should buy for that price. WOrld Champion, European CHampion with club and national team, tons of experience, we can get 3 or 4 good years from him at least, and in a position we need. Exactly the same thing that happened with Fabregas, Sanchez and other players of Barcelona (and years before that with Madrid when they sold Sneijder or Robben). ANd all of them were world class players bought for ridiculous prices.
  4. I really don't know with which brazilian people you are talking with... but I would say less than 1% of the population of Brazil thinks Romario was better than Messi (and for me 1% is a really high percentage). Messi is a lot better than ROmario, and over the years was also a lot better than Ronaldo (this one can be debatable since Ronaldo was a great and had a lot of injury problems).
  5. Obviouly can't do both at the "same time" (defending AND attacking). On the paper he should be a number 10, he isn't because he can't. It's that simple. The same way he couldn't in the last 6 months of last season. And that's also why players like Hazard, Costa, Matic, Ivanovic, Fabregas, Courtois are the undisputed number 1 options and Oscar is one more player... The number 10 position, the RW and the CB positions are the ones where we need to improve.
  6. No, I didn't . ANd yes Oscar is a number 10. That does almost nothing in attack.
  7. In Madrid Ozil never was lazy, and he had defensive responsabilitylike all the others had except Ronaldo that had a more freedom. Di Maria, Ozil, Khedira, Alonso, Benzema/Higuain everyone had to work for the team. The difference is that Oscar can't do both. And that's a problem for a number 10.
  8. And in Madrid was Cristiano. All the others did defensive work a lot, specially against Barcelona. And even Ronaldo and Hazard have defensive work to do. Madrid at that time played with Di Maria, Ozil and ROnaldo obviously 2 of them had a lot of defensive work to do. THe thing Oscar does is exactly the same Ozil did, the same Di Maria did in Real Madrid with Ancelotti, and many other players and still they can produce in attack. Mata has no place in in big european teams, he don't have quality enough and his work rate is realy bad. It has nothing to do with what Ozil was in Madrid. Fabregas playing in the CM also has a lot of work to do defensively and produces a lot in attack.
  9. As I said it before, Ozil could do it in Madrid. And there are many others #10 that can do it. Oscar is right now one of the problems in this team... the number 10 should be capable of create something regularly
  10. It's not. They think we have in the younger team the new Maradona. By the way... the other squads give a lot of oportinities to their young players. Here are the starting elevens of Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool in this competition. Arsenal 1-2 Southampton David Ospina, Calum Chambers, Héctor Bellerín, Isaac Hayden, Francis Coquelin, Tomás Rosicky, Jack Wilshere, Abou Diaby, Alexis Sánchez, Joel Campbell, Lukas Podolski (3 players under 21) Liverpool 2-2 Middlesbrough Simon Mignolet, Javier Manquillo, Kolo Touré, Mamadou Sakho, José Enrique, Lucas Leiva, Adam Lallana, Marković, Jordan Rossiter, Raheem Sterling, Rickie Lambert 4 players under 21 (2 of them already stablished players) Liverpool 2-1 Swansea Brad Jones, Glen Johnson, Javier Manquillo, Kolo Touré, Dejan Lovren, Lucas Leiva, Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson, Lazar Marković, Rickie Lambert, Fabio Borini (2 players under 21, 1 of them cost 22M£) MK Dons 4-0 Manchester United David de Gea, Jonny Evans, Michael Keane, Reece James, Marnick Vermijl, Saidy Janko, Kagawa, Anderson, Nick Powell, Chicharito Hernández, Danny Welbeck ( 3 players under 21 and 2 more that are 21/22 years old and not stablished players). Manchester City 7-0 Sheff Wed Caballero, Sagna, Kolarov, Mangala, Demichelis, Fernandinho, Lampard, Y Touré, Milner, Jesús Navas, Dzeko (0 under 21 players) ------
  11. Salah was the best player in the pitch today. I know many will vote for Ake or the Christensen. Everyone knows why... obviously it's not based on performance.
  12. You can do exactly the same question for Oscar for example that did nothing in the game. Salah was the best player in the pitch today. But people will vote for MOTM someone from the youth team... it doesn't matter how they play... they are young and from the youth team so they played well. I doubt Salah will do it here, the same for Schurrle and for all the young attacking players except Boga that is in another level clearly. But in here, as I said before, if you put a potato sack from the youth team in the opinion of the people here he will play like Maradona. If any of that players does something like Salah did today, he would be Ballon Dor contender.
  13. The same the great Kalas... that right now don't play in the great Koln team. He was really really good. As good as other great players that we should play a lot from the youth team. They are all great.
  14. Schurrle shouldn't shoot at this distance... because some times he will miss 2 or 3 times before he can do a good shot. So he shouldn't do it.
  15. Salah did the right thing, and he is playing well. He should take responsability, create chances, shoot, do good crosses. He is beeing the best player of the team by far. THe thing here is that... if we put a potato sack from the youth team... in here everyone thinks he is the new Maradona.
  16. If Dortmund don't want him and his price is acceptable (I would say 30M£ or something like that), we should buy him. He is young for a CB, World Champion, Champions League finalist, a lot of quality and he is all a CB should be. We need at least one CB.
  17. And we did it against Arsenal this season, Liverpool last season, 2 times against Manchester City last season... and many others. The thing here is... we ddn't win. Because we played worst against Liverpool in Anfield but we won and because of that it was increadible. Yesterday we played better and had a draw in the last minute and it was a disgrace. Last season Chelsea was the better team in the games between title contenders... I don't understand what are you saying about last season.
  18. Fabregas can have one bad game, he can have 10 in reality. Because he performs really well 20 times a season. With Costa by far the best two players of the season.
  19. Horrible again. But at least he played well against Bolton and Sporting and because of that smoe here think he is doing an increadible season... but in reality he is between the 10 players with an almost garanteed spot in the starting eleven the weakest link. In half the games he does nothing in attack and Cesc needs to do the job of both.
  20. And Bayern had a new draw for the third time in the league right now, Bayern lost more points than Chelsea in a League where they don't have any oponent. The reality is that almost for sure with Mourinho CHelsea don't lose against big teams... and it seems really easy this kind of games... But it's not like that. Before a game against WBA every one here is really concerned because it's a difficult game... but then you want to win without any problems in Old Trafford. Chelsea had the best record against the big 4 or 5 last season, and this season we will do it again. If you want to win scoring 4 goals in old trafford buy Messi or Ronaldo, and Bale and Suarez. Put that into perspective.
  21. It's good enough and fair...They played well and deserved the draw. 6 points ahead of Man City is a good lead.
  22. It would be great to win this game, it we open an 8 point lead... it's the start of something really promising.
