  1. Past hour
  2. Are we Estevao FC now? If his main selling point is that he knows an 18 year old like the back of his hand on top of being the “best club manager in South America” then I don’t see why anyone would be advocating him coming here. We will likely get Rosenoir now which is bad enough but managers who do well in South America, having had a poor managerial career in Europe, shouldn’t be on any want to be elite club also.
  3. The medical staff also had a big say according to multiple sources, it wasn't just the starting 11 selection but how many minutes certain players were given. My take on all this is simple, the cunts at the top didn't back him as we know, but at the same time I think Maresca give the two fingered salute by not starting Josh because we didn't get a Levi replacement. I think Maresca just downed tools as I think some players are now The signings of Delap, Hato, Garnacho, the sheer embarrassment of having to go to Sunderland with our tails between our legs and get Guiu back because we fucked up yet another transfer window and we all knew Delap was going to fail because he is shite. Joao Pedro not an out and out 9 but we hoped and prayed he would do it
  4. Who exactly was he "forced" to play by the owners? Most of the team picks itself when fit. The only players who wouldn't be guaranteed game time are: Tosin, Badi, George, Facundo and Gittens. Hato seemed like a long term signing, Josh is from the academy and Guiu was only brought back because they thought Delap may not be ready by January. Even if they did "pick" the team, the fact that he had no plan B in multiple games has nothing to do with ownership and more to do with his limited tactical skills (remember that he was a Championship level manager before getting the chance at Chelsea).

  6. I want to hear from Maresca, I hope he speaks out as the more I am reading he has actually just got his stuff and walked out. That's the biggest two fingered salute to the owners, basically saying I have had enough of this shit show, micro managing and picking the team above me...
  7. It's not leftfield. He has been the best club manager in South America for several years. He knows Estevao like the back of hid hand as well.
  8. I think Estevao will be fine regardless. Hs is a real talent & needs continuity in the team. The likes of Joao Pedro, Santos, Fernandez - they just need a kick up the arse or in Santos’ case, more minutes also. Talent is there just too inconsistent. Have bee saying the same thing about Enzo Fernandez for about 3 seasons now. Goal contributions have definitely stat padded his last 18 months but we need more in general play, particularly without the ball and in duels, he is hopeless in that area.
  9. Kompany got the Bayern job and he was dog shit prior. Let’s see how this plays out.
  10. He's done well at Palmeiras, he may be able to get the best out of Estevao and even our other South American players in Enzo, Pedro, Santos etc. But looks like we'll be getting the Strasbourg manager.
  11. Kjetil Knutsen of FK Bodø/Glimt is a name circulating for potential new Strasbourg manager, and another is ex City Coach Brian Barry-Murphy of Cardiff City. (@lequipe ) Joe Shields He can't help himself; he was also a key player for Enzo Maresca, who brought him to Chelsea.
  12. Abel Ferreira is very left field but surely you’re joking 😂 Who’d be next on the list? Jorge Jesus? Dunga?
  13. They'll just score 2-3 early ones and then bring on a few subs for match fitness.
  14. I wouldn't mind Abel Ferreira but I doubt he leaves Palmeiras for us.
  15. Yesterday
  16. Expect to see the GK playing as a 3rd CB btw. Think he has the CB’s playing in the false 9 too by the looks of it.
  17. Liam Rosenior's staff will consist of his close aid, his wife as assistant, she will be closely followed by her sister who will be a part of the medical side and his uncle as goalkeeping coach, his brother in law as his fitness coach and his grandad Peter senior who will be the lead data analyst
  18. good job tracking m8! let's list who is still left on the board (some of these are wild longshots, but I do rate them as managers and thsi list is meant to be maximal) some of these cannot or would not come untip after the World Cup Xavi Simone Inzaghi Unai Emery Hansi Flick (IF sacked) Xabi Alonso (IF sacked) Luis Enrique (pipe dream) Thomas Tuchel (lol, what can I say, I do rate him) Carlo Ancelotti Diego Simeone Lionel Scaloni Gian Piero Gasperini Julian Nagelsmann Didier Deschamps Abel Ferreira Laurent Blanc Niko Kovač Marco Silva Fabian Hurzeler (lol, he is at Brighton, so will be in the mix due to our BHA obsession) Sérgio Conceição Dino Toppmöller Thiago Motta Roger Schmidt Joachim Löw and of course, the frontrunner................ Liam Rosenior
  19. Spot on. He’s a guy with so little cache and so little accomplishment that he literally couldn’t possibly go against these owners/directors. For whatever it’s worth, Maresca had at least been a winner before joining us and then built up his reputation after winning a couple of trophies and finishing 4th. That built up credit in the bank allowed him to voice his displeasure in how the clowns were running things. Rosenoir will be so insanely fortunate and lucky to be handed this job that he doesn’t belong in that he will toe the line like a good little puppet and work with whatever he is given. Get ready for our summer window to consist of merely bringing over the Strasbourg guys he has worked with (Emegha, Sarr, and Penders) and with Colwill returning + Quenda that’ll be it. No top class players are going to sign for Liam Rosenoir.
  20. He's cheap, will be like a lap dog and won't say anything against the ownership, and when he is told to go to bed he will just go upstairs and sleep in his dog bed like a good boy We had a PE teacher, we now have a pupil
  21. What exactly has this guy done to be “highly rated”
  22. Ros and then like an old man.....a senior Or like John Cena....Liam Rocena
  23. Didn’t think we would ever be in this position after Roman taking over. This is actually crazy times. Hope we get to see us back among the big time again one day in my lifetime.
  24. How the fuck do you even pronounce his name?
  25. Strabsourg are now seeking a new gaffer...ladies and gents we have got our man Welcome to Chelsea, the ex Hull City manager Liam Rosenior
  26. Well you can’t have it all? Surely better than the alternative really, him sitting for another 6 months at least, perhaps 18, on full pay when he’s not involved. Particularly given everyone’s obsession with the financial success of this club as opposed to sporting success 😂 It would be a lot easier & (probably) cheaper if they tried to negotiate a deal to terminate his contract. What is the big deal with trying to negotiate say a £12-14m settlement to terminate his deal early? Surely better than him sitting for another 18 months on full pay? Reportedly he is still due around £22m of his contract. Nobody is going to pay him the wage he’s on here & location seems to be priority for him given he has reportedly knocked back Saudi clubs with obscene amounts of money on offer. As well as CL clubs in Europe. The London clubs that would sign him are not going to pay us a decent fee & him big wages. Something has to give. The fact he hasn’t played any meaningful football for us since Pochettino also sort of limits what we can ask for him financially.
