Also for me, starting to feel more and more like Rosenoir will talk the talk but cannot walk the walk. Regardless of performance, every week these players are outstanding etc and player X, Y or Z gave me everything but you can only hear that so many times. He has had a good run of results granted but performances have been so up & down. Napoli and West Ham games perfect examples. 2 halves, 2 conflicting performances. Tonight toothless. Big missed opportunity given the nature of the game & how it played out - they were there for the taking in certain moments in the second half when we got momentum but we lack personality and quality in areas where it matters most. You just knew nobody was stepping up when it mattered.

they could win at least 7 trophies linearly (going into next season) League Cup FA Cup EPL CL UEFA Super Cup (August 12, 2026, IF they win the CL this season) Community Shield FIFA Intercontinental Cup (December 2026, IF they win the CL this season. PSG won it in 2025, Real Madrid in 2024, the first time it was played since the old IC was last played in December 2004, won by Porto on pens, under Víctor Fernández, who took over for Mou as he came here to Chels after Porto won the CL in 2004. Porto also earlier had won the UEFA Super Cup in August 2004, also under Fernández. Mou never won the IC, nor the FIFA Club World Cup nor the UEFA Super Cup, as he left after he won the CL both times, and lost the UEFA Super Cup twice, in 2003 with Porto, to AC Milan after he won 2002-2003 Europa League with Porto, and then lost it again, this time with with us in 2013, to Bayern, after Chels had won the 2012-2013 Europa League under the FSW)

: Liam Rosenior: "I have to give the players so MUCH credit. Our schedule has been incredible and for them to put in the energy and effort is amazing." "Reece (James) is an incredible captain and leader and Pedro (Joao) is an outstanding professional and a great player." "Cole (Palmer) is a GEM. We have to take care of him for the rest of the season." "We can't let this result affect the remainder of our season." "I'm extremely disappointed every time we lose a game of football. I'm hurting but we have to move on... we have another game in 3 days."
-
Rosenior on SkySports: "We felt with the game plan that we had a good chance to come through. The result was not what we wanted. I am seeing clear improvements in three and a half weeks or four weeks since I have been here but tonight the result didn't go our way." "Up to 60 minutes (it went to plan), we lost Pedro and Reece this morning. We hope to have them back at the weekend. Cole, we have to look after him, he has had a really difficult last eight/nine months with the amount of game he has played, he played a full 90 vs West Ham you could see his quality right away when he came on. Estevao has been away in Brazil (on compassionate leave) and rightfully so with his family. We needed to make sure we gave ourselves the best chance and the tie didn't run away from us in the first half. I felt we dominated in the second half, the game plan went the way we wanted it to but we just couldn't find the breakthrough."
-
Arsenal havent won it since 1993, but 'theyre the greatest team the World has ever seen' according to their fans. Bless
-
Hence it being a small plus...I want us in finals and this was a chance! Might not get one during the FA Cup. To be so flat as well...we havent won a domestic trophy in however many years. Dont think even be winning minor trophies to be honest..
-
Getting to a final in a cup competition like the Carabao Cup would’ve been nice though. And winning it, even better. We are only going to win the minor trophies with this group and ownership though. We will not be winning league or Champions Leagues. Maybe the net spend champions trophy will come back out though? Just like when folk were absolutely over the moon we signed Enzo, Caicedo & Lavia for a net spend of whatever it was and that was all they went on about 😂 BlueCo out!
-
Yep..up until our diaster run of finals all was lovely! Then it went to shite. Domestic wise anyway! Set a record no-one else will beat
-
What’s the point in watching if the club aren’t interested in winning?
-
We used to dominate semi finals and finals, we now accept a half hearted semi final performance as 'alright' I think we are following the theme of board, a management and settling for just being stable What a shame
-
Chelsea didn't put a foot wrong today, but not much to write about either in terms of attacking play. Guess that also settles the Joao Pedro - Drogba comparisons. Good player and he will do a job for us this season, but a WC team will need more from its strikers, especially against the toughest defenses.
-
For teams that needed the goal we didnt create. Arsenal didn't need the goal and they just did their thing... Onto the next league game and all
-
Palmer may as well be on crutches, blokes fucked Joao Pedro as good as his form has been is just middle of the road and we have settled for it We don't compete anymore, we have a few lions but more and more pussy cats
-
Another way to look is we got to 6 finals in a row and lost them all sooo we couldve get to a 7th and also lose that 🤣😭 small plus!! Its it nice we set records that are hard to beat! And cant see that one being anytime.soon
-
Quad....DUNNNNNNN. No thank you!!
-
João Pedro is a great footballer and is capable of some spectacular finishes but we still don’t have that dominant #9 who can apply relentless pressure and get loads of shots away. He was great in the first half but then got completely gobbled up and nullified in the second half when he was marked closer. And yes, I agree that Palmer is just hurting himself long term the longer he carries on like this. He is desperate to play in the World Cup and is therefor refusing to get surgery. He seriously looks like a completely different p,Ayer than he was in the past 2 seasons.
-
Could Arsenal actually win a treble!! please Lord no!
-
Another poor attacking performance. Can’t expect to win games of football if you don’t do anything in the final third. No risk no reward, reap what you sow etc etc. People in the media are going to keep saying there’s encouraging signs for us and tactically Rosenoir did some things well but at the end of the day, we didn’t win & its another cup final we won’t make.
-
And top of the league.. and in a final..and 10 games unbeaten against us..that also used to be us 😞 how quickly its changed. Miss the old days. Mean we looked less dodgy at the back! Just not so much anything going forward today
-
agree, he is miles off it his instincts, spatial recognition, and burst moves are shot to hell the ball used to be glued to him now it gets taken away far too often
-
what havertz did? I turn off the TV after the goal
-
I understand Palmer doesn’t want to get surgery so he doesn’t rule himself out of the World Cup but fuck me he’s not making the squad the way he’s performing!!
-
The biggest shambles about us is we used to be incredible at attacking, we are now toothless and Arsenal look like what we used to be I really hate what we have become, the nearly men
-
no idea very shitty reaction not at all happy with that
