He can improve our squad, i suppose. Pedro only scored 6 goals in the past season. These are weak numbers. I mean, the guy plays in the most dominant team in Europe.

he scored 11 goals, had 9 assists in 2219 minutes of football last season in all competitions.

which is a goal/assist every 110minutes. hardly unacceptable i would say.

So it's completely up to what Pedro wants. Does he want to be an important player here or ride the bench at Barca and waste the prime years of his career? He'll be even further down the pecking order now that Arda is there.

The manager and board have now said they won't stand in his way should he want to leave. If he's the best available that we can get (which is looking likely) lets get it done. Want him to have a preseason and be able to hit the ground running.

I'm talking about his performance in La Liga. Even if he was a bench player, he played a good amount of minutes. Again, six goals in 1531 minutes in La Liga isn't a strong number for someone who plays in the most dominant team in Europe and his "thing" is score goals.

If this guy improve our eleven, well, we are more weak than i thought.

In attack, Chelsea are one of the weakest top clubs in Europe.

Pedro could easily walk into Chelsea XI (if he plays well) - not because he's WC, but our other options aren't exactly great either.

Barca open door for Pedro to join Chelsea. Mourinho wants Spain ace at Stamford Bridge. #CFC #FCB (Sun)

i would have been running naked down the street if it had been anyone but "sun" (or metro or mail, infact anyone but sky and bbc)

whats wrong with 6 goals and 6 assists for a RM/RW in 1544 minutes.

he will improve our starting 11 but he will improve our squad and squad strength drastically.

God you're boring. Go wack off over some Reus and Isco photos will you.

If i'm boring what would you call some of the Pedro fanatics? As some insightful members around here already pointed out i'd rather save the money untill a world class RW becomes avaiable than spending yet again on another stop gap which ain't taking us to the next level.

Yes, i'd rather be boring than signing someone just for the sake of signing. Thankfully im grateful none around here works on our board otherwise we would get stuck with all the Cuadrado's, Pedro's and Cabaye's of this world. May i search the comments before we signed Cuadrado monsieur?
