Wonder what we'd even do if he chooses to go there. We aren't linked with any other wing back targets and at this point it's probably far too late even if we were because any club selling wouldn't be able to replace their player.

Yeah, it's not an ideal situation.

The board need to tell Chamberlain to hurry the fuck up and sign the contract by end of the day tomorrow or deal's off the table with the club starting to look at some other alternatives for deadline day buy. Would be beyond idiotic to let the deal stall till last hours of the deadline with no other option lined up because if he then decides to go to Liverpool instead we're fucked.

This says nothing but it seems to hint that the AOC will happen?

Kenedy, 21, should arrive on Tyneside as soon as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain completes his move from Arsenal to Stamford Bridge, but although Newcastle have the money to complete at least one more permanent transfer, confidence is fading fast.

His skill set is best applied in wide areas where he can actually use his strongest attributes. He can play in midfield but it's a waste of his pace and dribbling ability.

Good luck getting into their midfield, Ox. Especially when Keita gets there next summer.

Get the feeling that he doesn't know his best position himself. Is he even good enough to play in central midfield?

Oh ffs, always some drama with the Hollywood FC that is Chelsea

Good luck to the lad then. He won't get in Liverpool's central midfield either as anything more than a backup option and Arsenal will keep playing him at wing-back.

I don't think he is. Not for a club that wants to challenge for the title.

Ths pretty much fucks us royally. We may now have to go a whole season with zero depth at either wing back position. Ox was probably a huge signing that Conte was really counting on.
