Pool plays a high line just like City. City holds to the football, and prioritizes that, for much longer than pool which takes a much more direct approach. Both teams don't protect well enough their defenses, but City has Rodri who is definitely good at that when needed, whereas Liverpool has a less defensive set of mids. In other words, I think pool's D get into difficult situations more often than City's D does, so statistically, they have more opportunity to make blunders. The title is decided over 38 games not just 2 games v each of “the big 6” which in the previous seasons we haven’t even been in when you look at league positions. Liverpool definitely been the best team this season so far, by a mile. Nah exactly! In that sense we beat Spurs! If we count them as big 6 does that mean we deserve the title 🤣 Liverpool oddly were written off this season. Maybe the signings they didn't quite make? Well they're hardly effecting them now unfortunately and thing is even when Klopp goes their squad is pretty damn solid especially scoring wise majority of time Have doubts about City tbh and Klopp leaving setting a fire under them and all... Be nice if we could be up there again.... Edited February 5, 2024 by Laylabelle

Laylabelle 9,534
This is why have doubts about city. At least if Liverpool do go on and win the title, the storyline will be Klopp's farewell tour...

Yeahhhhh....nahhhh less worse out the bunch...just a shame his farewell tour likely to also include the Calbro Cup over us.. unless something drastic happens!!! Like I dont know their bus breaks down but have to play random people? Just a shame 🤣 I liked Arsenal when they were sort of just there competing but not but I dont think they'll just be there for a while now...unfortunately... Oh well battle for 10th place is where we are 🤣 thrilling Edited February 5, 2024 by Laylabelle

CL is a different beast: remember their scrappy win against Inter (hardly a powerhouse)? I'm not sure that Bench is more shocking for City's perspective or ours; like our Bench looks pretty average compare to any other bench in the league. Not long ago, Kovacic would be rotating for us. Not long ago, Kovacic would be rotating for us. here are Citeh's 10 LOWEST valuation players.. look at all but 2 of the names, all are crazy quality other than Carson, (their old 3rd string keeper, who never plays), and then LB Sergio Gómez, the only outfied player on their squad I do not rate (and who never hardly plays either, he has 18 minutes total played in the EPL), they have no weakeness at all. Maybe you could argue Ortega could be upgraded from for their backup keeper, but Pep seems to 100 per cent trust him and do not forget the names they let go ot have out on loan sold: (the ones in bold are all still great players, plus Cole) Cole Palmer Riyad Mahrez Aymeric Laporte Yangel Herrera İlkay Gündoğan Benjamin Mendy Zack Steffen and out on loan (in bold will be sold) João Cancelo Kalvin Phillips Taylor Harwood-Bellis James McAtee Claudio Echeverri Máximo Perrone overall, it is just insane quality they have and then also have let go as they no longer need them I have never seen anything like it Edited February 5, 2024 by Vesper robsblubot

Vesper 30,169
IF Citeh win the EPL, the FA Cup, the CL, and the UEFA Super Cup the 23 year old Foden will have 20 major trophies, including SIX EPL titles and 2 CLs there is no FIFA World Club Cup this year, so Foden misses out on 21 (plus having 2 world championships) and that is with Citeh losing the last 3 Community Shields in a row (they are almost as shit in the the CS as we are overall, and 2 of their CS wins since 2011 were against us, if we had won those 2, they would be worse than us in it, since it started, they are 6 wins, 9 losses, and we are 4 wins, 9 losses, with only 2 wins in 9 attempsts since Roman bought us, and our only 2 wins then were all the way back in 2005 and 2009) The only time Citeh won the CS against a team other than Chels in the past 52 years was in 2019 verus Liverpool. They did not play in 2020, and then lost the last 3 in a row since then. Edited February 5, 2024 by Vesper

robsblubot 3,595
heh Liverpool has and will miss Salah -- it's in the big games like against Arsenal the time you miss the big players. Their attack is really good, but they will miss Salah when he leaves. AFCON is just too long... is it longer than Copa America? useless competitions.
