From the past it has to be Cloughy and Sir Bobby Robson

From the present:Owen Coyle for his tactical knowledge.Imagine what he could do at a REALLY big club?

Ian Holloway for his media conferences/interviews-They are just TV Gold :smiliecap1:

Also impressed with the job Neil Warnock is doing at QPR.

Like Mike just previously mentioned, Owen Coyle.

Have massive respect for David Moyes...

I do really like Mick McCarthy

Was about to post this pretty much word for word. Add Martin O'Neill to that list as well. Good to see so much passion from managers on the touchlines.

For anyone interested, The Brian Clough documentary 'The greatest manager england never had' is on BBC2 at 11:45pm.

It was released back in 2009 in conjunction with the movie 'the damned united', but it's worth watching for any english football fan who hasn't seen it.

The Damned United has been heavily criticised though. Many think it shows Clough in a negative light and in a way he never came across anyway, especially with the drinking and things like that. I remember his son didn't like it at all.

It's the same with Munich. The one they showed a few months ago about the Munich Air Disaster, they said Busby was portrayed in a horrible way and there were calls to boycott watching it, again his family hated it.

The film was different to the book though, I think they contacted the family before making the film.

Yeah, the book was really attacked

The good thing about the film was they had good insight from his wife especially, but it's still a film that doesn't impress many people. It's understandable why they'd be angry, I'd imagine much stems from the original book.
