Petr Cech 7 Got all his desicions spot on could not to nowt with the goal.

Branislav Ivanovic 6 did ok but was troubled by Nani at time

David Luiz 7 got caught out a couple of times but very good for his full SW6 debut, look like he is taking over Carvalho's role in scoring regually against Utd as well.

John Terry 7 Good performance from the captain led from the back.

Ashely Cole 6 solid but unspectacular.

Micheal Essien 8 MOTM for me i thought he was outstanding, looks like he has finally escaped from where his twin brother hid him.

Ramires 7 bit sloppy a couple of times in the 1st half but he will be a huge big game player for us in years to come.

Frank Lampard 7 Slowly but surely we are getting our Frank back.

Florent Malouda 7 again better worthy of a 7 lets hope he improves from here on in.

Nicolas Anelka 6 Couple of neat touches but was quite quiet tonight.

Fernando Torres 7 getting there as soon as he scored his 1st there fly in

Couldn't watch the game until the 65th minute. Happy for the win of course, but the BBC and Guardian texts of Torres was pretty scathing. Was he that bad?

From the final 1/3 of the game I did see him getting very frustrated.

Guardian, BBC, Telegraph seem to have a bias toward Liverpool. He's no longer a Liverpool darling but the expensive toy of the Russian billionaire. The only people wanting him to succeed will be Chelsea and Spanish fans.

Cech 7 Not his goal and did what he had to do through the match without doing anything crazy out of the ordinary.

Ivanovic 5 Nani was playing a bit too much around with him in his side and he missed a couple of really big chances

Luiz 8 He had a few brain farts but I can't help but love him even when he is caught pushing, he was easily more dangerous than Anelka, Torres and Drogba.

Terry 6 Had some really bad passes and seems too arrogant in his defending.

Ashely 7 Was decent forward and really good in the defense.

Essien 8 Worked hard, had a couple of stupid ball loses but also won it a lot.

Ramires 8 Same thing as Essien really.

Lampard 6 Wasn't a big danger offensive and wasn't that great defensively.

Malouda 4 - just overall really bad.

Anelka 4 Barely saw him all match.

Torres 4 Seems way too obsessed with going himself and trying to score and failing terrible each time. You could see the potential but he didn't deliver at all.

Zhirkov 8 Got the penalty and was close to scoring.

Drogba 7 came on and wasted time very very well.

Some said good movement, not a lot of service, kept Vidic on his toes.

Some said slow, uninterested, out of form.

I'm watching the game on DVR in a couple of hours. I'll give you my biased Torres opinion.
