Henrique 9,133
Carlo wont use Drogba and Torres together. Drogba will be released in the summer, and now will go to the bench.Anelka - Torres - Malouda
DavidEU 2,023
I'd love to see Josh behind Drogba and Torres at home to Reading if we get through. Just saying....

Madmax 9,219
Can't imagine Torres or Drogba on the wing. And out of the two Drogba more likelier to be benched. So considering Carlo's fondness for the diamond, maybe it will be a return to that.
Kez 2,727
Nothing but a 4-4-2How can you not use these 2 together in the same team? Will be the most feared strike partnership in Europe.

Kez 2,727
IF Drogba works with him True we obviously need the Drogba we all know & love, he needs to see this as an opportunity to shine with Torres.

LDN Blue 7,903
why have u become so negative? Lol this is only the first time I've said something like this.I believe there are 2 Drogba's we can see.The same Drogba who became a superstar after Shevchenko arrived in 2007, showing why he was the first choiceA Drogba that now becomes whiny and sulky because he is no longer the prize striker thus not performing properly. We did have that hypothesis with Anelka though so.. ZanSnake 1,211
4-4-1-1Drogba/Anelka hanging back of Torres would be a good option as it could give him more room up-front and Drogba's lack of pace, that he has shown lately, wouldn't be an issue. Or otherwise, the 4-4-2 diamond is the most likeliest option.
milllz 43
the only problem with the diamond is lampard, so if we can get lampard playing in it then its sorted
Milan 17,959
the only problem with the diamond is lampard, so if we can get lampard playing in it then its sorted That's a very good point. Last year, when we played diamond, he was completely lost, not playing well, not scoring. I really do hope Carlo will handle it somehow. spuz 143
Can't we just play 442 without it being a diamond. Knowing Carlo he'll stick Torres out wide. I'm hoping for a 442 anyway,I have been for months since we entered our 'bad moment.'
Wilson 358
Drogba and Torres should play together. Would be stupid for them not to!
Miguelito 459
we could either play the diamond or use ramires on the right wing in a regular 4-4-2. benayoun can play there also once he comes back. it would be mad not to play 2 of the top strikers in the world and to see that partnership. and it can help both of them with a little rest if one of them needs one then we can still play our 4-3-
magic weeds 446
Carlo must be busy searching for his old diamond tactic books that were thrown away last year after the Fulham game at Stamford Bridge. C´mon Carlo, show us what you got.
