Hutcho 8,443
T.T has lost a heap of money in the last few games. Glad i did no bets yesterday but might do one today.... Arsenal are not even odds-on to beat Schalke at home. 23/20 @ William Hill. Bit strange.Yeah that looks pretty good, could be an over-reaction by the bookies after the norwich game. We Hate Scouse 10,326
Wow gambling is addictive ive blown 30quid on skybet in one day. Very crafty how you can't close your account unless you ring them up too.I closed my Sky Bet account without ringing them. They have like online advisor people, if you speak to one of them and ask them to close your account they will
T.T. 1,534
T.T has lost a heap of money in the last few games. That is true Ollie, but I am still in profit for the season so far (by about £200) and therefore my recent losses have only been giving the bookies some of their money back. Too many possibilities for me. Its not inconcievable for the result to go any way, and even results like 3-3 with the shaky defences we both have. As always GL though. dave30 728
Does anyone know If there's anything stopping me closing and reopening a sky bet account in order to repeatedly get the £10 free bet ?
Hutcho 8,443
Does anyone know If there's anything stopping me closing and reopening a sky bet account in order to repeatedly get the £10 free bet ?I am sure there will be some bylaw to stop it legally. It would probably work though, as if you use a different email address it could be fine. Sometimes it flags it up and won't let you make an account, however be a bit wary of the fact that if you open a new account and spend some money and win big, then if they investigate your account they would have just cause for not paying out. And tbh it wouldn't surpise me if they didn't really care about people having multipe accounts as they have that to fall back on if you win anything, so is another way of getting money out of people. Ow well worth a try Oh ok, well worth a go... Especially with their new free fiver every week. Probably made their security on dublicate accounts a lot better as otherwise they could lose a lot of money on free bets, and not just one tenner. Still not a bad offer though.

T.T. 1,534
That was a bit exciting last night, wasn't it !?Believe it or not I managed to find a profit from last nights league cup game at home to manutd. I really couldn't decide what score to bet on (as it was impossible), so I had £55 on us to progress to the next round @ 8/11 (£40 profit). At 93 minutes I thought that it was dead money.I'm pretty happy with the £100 I have on us to win the league cup at 9/1 (very generous Victor Chandler), as the odds are now down to just 6/4. Should I have a small £50 saver bet on arsenal to win it @ 2/1 ?

Should I have a small £50 saver bet on arsenal to win it @ 2/1 ?You can do though it depends if you want some security on your bet... The thing i would say is that arsenal will still play a weakened team and although they will beat bradford their next game will probably be vs norwich or villa or us so could well trip up... I probably wouldn't, but its up to you. How annoyed would you be if somehow arsenal won and you lost the 100 quid.
T.T. 1,534
Realistically I can't see anybody other than us or arsenal winning the league cup, so the saver bet is tempting (although having a bet on them to win it would make me feel a bit dirty).I am going to have to think about this one a bit. I was shocked and thought it was a miss print... I know liverpool at home and all that, but 1. newcastle are a better team and 2. liverpool have already lost to west brom 3-0...I have taken 4/1 on the DNB... Good luck, crazy odds imo. Ollie 4,400
Arsenal, Man City, Real Madrid and PSG to win is like 10/1. I know Arsenal have a tough game but i still think they can beat Schalke there tbh. They're basically 3-1 to win. They fucked me up a bit last time so maybe they can win me some dough tonight. Obviously though i'd be delighted if they lost same way.
