i wouldn't be too surprised for them to nick a goal. GL though.

You could be right Hutcho. I have just added a £30 bet on Chelsea to win (draw no bet) @ 2.32 just in case they score. At least this way I won't lose money if we win (unlike the spurs game).

Well looks like we both lost. I only lost a fiver as i just do it to mess about and if i get to 40 i withdraw most of it, but shit happens...

Wow gambling is addictive ive blown 30quid on skybet in one day. Very crafty how you can't close your account unless you ring them up too.

Yep, better to do it in small amounts (depends what is small to you of course), i try and pick a target then if a get to it i take 75% out and do that, then it doesn't get bad. Some people end up losing some then increasing the amounts to try and make up for it and that never ends well. :)

And even then you can always re-activate it. I used to work in casinos. I know their tricks. Basically, you always lose. (And the reason football bets often look good is that it's not a straight yes or no proposition. There's also the possibility of a draw which happens a lot.

T.T has lost a heap of money in the last few games. Glad i did no bets yesterday but might do one today.... Arsenal are not even odds-on to beat Schalke at home. 23/20 @ William Hill. Bit strange.

Yeah that looks pretty good, could be an over-reaction by the bookies after the norwich game.

I closed my Sky Bet account without ringing them. They have like online advisor people, if you speak to one of them and ask them to close your account they will :)

That is true Ollie, but I am still in profit for the season so far (by about £200) and therefore my recent losses have only been giving the bookies some of their money back.

My effort's for the manutd game on Saunday:

£10 on 1-0 @ 12.0

£6 on 2-0 @ 17.0

£3 on 3-0 @ 36.0

£8 on 2-1 @ 11.0

£3 on 3-1 @ 24.0

Total outlay £30

I will probably avoid the utd match. Too many possibilities for me. Its not inconcievable for the result to go any way, and even results like 3-3 with the shaky defences we both have. As always GL though.

Does anyone know If there's anything stopping me closing and reopening a sky bet account in order to repeatedly get the £10 free bet ?

I am sure there will be some bylaw to stop it legally. It would probably work though, as if you use a different email address it could be fine. Sometimes it flags it up and won't let you make an account, however be a bit wary of the fact that if you open a new account and spend some money and win big, then if they investigate your account they would have just cause for not paying out. And tbh it wouldn't surpise me if they didn't really care about people having multipe accounts as they have that to fall back on if you win anything, so is another way of getting money out of people.

Oh ok, well worth a go... Especially with their new free fiver every week. Probably made their security on dublicate accounts a lot better as otherwise they could lose a lot of money on free bets, and not just one tenner.

What is that fiver every week thing, do you have to bet a certain amount a week ?

Edit: Just seen you have to bet a fiver every week. Still not a bad offer though.
