Simon Kjær

Chelsea manager Carlos Ancelotti has identified Wolfsburg defender Simon Kjaer as the solution to his centre-back problem.

The Blues have been short of central defenders all season following Ricardo Carvalho’s summer departure and injuries to John Terry and Alex.

And, according to reports in Germany, Ancelotti is ready to reignite his interest in Kjaer, who he tracked during the summer.

Then, the Denmark international moved from Palermo to Wolfsburg, but it is thought a bid of around £7m would be enough to prize him away from the Bundesliga, little over six months after his arrival.

It would be a great deal ! This player is young but already has first team experience ! He has played 62 games with Palermo and 14 with Wolfsburg, and he has played the World Cup.

I just hope this isn't a rumor among other !

Danish players do fairly well at Chelsea.... Bjarne Goldbæk, Jesper Gronkjær to name a couple, Brian Laudrup wasn't a big hit though but he was the last player to score for us against FC Copenhagen!

Jes Høgh, was backup to Desailly and Leboeuf back in 2000, and he was dogged of injuries while he was coming to the end of his career, but he did put up some excellent performances when he did play.

What are the chances of him leaving his new club just after joining half a season?

Its just some random rumour. If he does comes, it is like a direct slap to Bruma's face.

Playing Ferreira against Sunderland at CB has already told Bruma he needs to up his game. Personally I don't think he's good enough for us yet anyway.
