CHOULO19 24,332
His luck has been unbelievable this season. I hope that just pushes him to prove his point more.
Kieran. 6,317
Josh McEachran sustained a soft tissue injury to a sensitve part of the left ankle in Tuesday night's game against Liverpool.http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2533356,00.html

LDN Blue 7,903
Can we just leave McEachran's development to the professionals? What if he isn't ready? Is this such a bad thing, considering his young age?!
The Big Drog 1,110
He does need to be loaned out in January to a Premier League team. We've seen how well that has worked for Sturridge and I think McEachran is more a "Sturridge" than a "Kakuta", I think Josh would thrive out on loan and come back to us next season as a player ready to start games. I refuse to believe he isn't ready to even play 30 min against Wigan. Term-X
Tomo 21,751
Its lose lose, had we brought him on and he contibuted to us dropping points we would have blasted AVB for "throwing him the deep end".Before we go over-reacting and writing this lad off, lets remember Sturridge could not even get on the bench off a mid table pre Sheikh City side at 18 and Josh is getting on the bench for one the best sides in the country. So he is in a better position than Danny at the same age.Infact he is the same position as Danny was last season and Danny was 21.

Their youth policies may be different, but I maintain trust in André's judgement.. If that means he thinks McEachran isn't quite there yet, then I maintain an element of trust instilled in him. I'm not asking for him to start regularly or even play every week but he's hardly playing and he's not developing.

A loan deal in January is very likely, which we can all take solace in.

But it doesn't even matter what fans on a forum say. Except for the manager, only the media can actually get to a player and there's no way a young (English) player would receive stick if he didn't perform after coming on.Yeah, he's not even playing regular reserve football which is a worry. A loan deal in January is very likely, which we can all take solace in.Even if he was playing reserve football, it wouldn't have mattered. He outgrew that level of football a long time ago. There are reforms coming to that though, it will be good for British clubs. The case of McEachran will solve itself through his hard work on loan deals, that will come in January. francozola 2,040
He should have come on yesterday. Lampard was utter shite and was slowing the whole fucking midfield down. Meireles was misplacing every single pass that he got and out of position every time.
