Kanye West is quite possibly the most overrated and most over appreciated man in the world of hip hop.

Kanye has 3 classic albums under his belt, influenced so many, too much to list.

He has an ear for beats/production, that's his 'musical' USP.

No, I think people just like to hate on the man because he publicly believes in himself and doesn't appear to be humble publicly. College Dropout, Late Registration & MBDTF just to name a few of his albums are all classics and deserve the credit they get.

Not overrated in my opinion, because no one even calls him the best rapper alive or anything.

It's not like I haven't listened to Kanye either. I have listened to College Dropout, Late Registration and Twisted Fantasy all the way through. I can recall about five songs (two of them being Diamonds from Sierra Leone) between all three of those albums that I sincerely enjoy. To me, that's just not good enough for someone that's being raised up as an amazing visionary.

I appreciate he is doing something different but in my books that doesn't always correlate with actual quality.

Any thoughts on Hopsin? He gets soooo much hate amongst hardcore hip hop fans, it's quite incredible. I actually like his new track. Kanye impersonation is spot-on. Kendrick 'diss' is just elementary and stupid though. Doubt Kendrick knows who he is. Anyway he's easy on the ears. Love the simplicity of the chorus:

Any thoughts on Hopsin? He gets soooo much hate amongst hardcore hip hop fans, it's quite incredible. I actually like his new track. Kanye impersonation is spot-on. Kendrick 'diss' is just elementary and stupid though. Doubt Kendrick knows who he is. Anyway he's easy on the ears. Love the simplicity of the chorus:

Not a big fan of Hopsin, I spoke to Hopsin on tinychat before he was as famous as he is now, I didn't mind him. But he was never that great, all his fans are mainly due to his gimmick more than anything else.

How can you make a song like Nocturnal Rainbows then have songs like Kill Her and Where Will I Go in the same album? But I also think a majority of the hate on Hopsin is because of his annoying fans, well that's wrong but I judge Hopsin and I think he is an average rapper, or maybe just above, I really don't think there is anything special about him. He's the most simple rapper you will find, he pretty much spells everything out for you.

You can get authentic ones on eBay for ~$100 and I saw plastic ones on Amazon for about half that. But what I did was I found a Roman gladiator helmet at a costume store and cut out the face because they look almost identical, and I stapled an elastic band so it would stay on my head

I agree. He has nothing special and unique about him. Makes me think he has no right to diss Kanye, Kendrick and Lupe (and more ofc)
