Yeah mate, me too. Pitchfort put up a collection of the Beastie Boys videos. MCA did a lot of the directing. Still so fucking sad about him gone.

Yeah, I read that. I love Pitchfork, it's my bible.

I knew he was sick but it was so sudden. I hope Mike D and Ad-Rock continue touring, I just don't want them to make any new music without MCA. It just wouldn't be the same. without him. At the very least they could start a new band kind of like how Joy Division was broken up when Ian Curtis passed away and the remaining memeber formed New Order.

Intergalactic and Sabotage are my favourite videos.

Beastie Boys without MCA wouldn´t work for me, to be honest. Even touring without being the three of them would just be a sad thing to see. I can see Ad Rock and Mike D doing some stuff like Producing or feature gigs.

Sabotage is my favourite. Make Some Noise is also brilliant, i think.

It is such a shame, because the last record they did was so fucking awesome. They were going in a direction sound-wise that i really like.

I thought he would push through.

I just don't want them to record with the Beastie Boys name without MCA. If they start a new band with a new name and direction I'll gladly listen to them. Perhaps Mike D and Ad Rock could go back to their punk roots? :D

That would be awesome. I really liked their NY Hardcore stuff. One can´t give them enough credibility for their vision and abilities to merge the stuff, that belonged together anyway. As Glen E. Friedman said "Hiphop and Punkrock was the same". It certainly had the same energetic outlet.
