Apart from classics of 2pac, Biggie, Eminem, Young Snoop,...I was never into newer rap, but damn I have been listening to alot of Lamar, J.Cole, Russ and Big Sean lately. Some amazing stuff.

Btw anyone knows any female singers that sound like Skylar Grey in wreak havoc? I like her voice, but I dont dig the beats...and she doesnt usualy make songs like this. Any suggestions?

Ive definitely got an eclectic taste in music but basic Hip Hop isn't near the top of my faves list. but G Funk is a totally different sound that you can boogie to.

But a pretty good film just ready to grab from your favourite friendly torrent site. G Funk. About Warren G and the West Coast stylee.

I dunno that much about 'Hip Hop' as its a bit new for my taste but I do like some of the early Puff/Big/Dogg/NWA.Ice etc stuff.

I like Funkadelic/Parliament alot and theres some of Doggs stuff that sounds very similar

I spent half a day with George Clinton in Amsterdam one year when he was a judge at the cannabis cup. A proper headcase but once you get  on the same level hes a nice guy.

Saw them in 75. Just an amazing live band. George,Bootsy,Bernie Worrell,Buckethead. All totally bonkers but brilliant..

Ice Cube (formerly from NWA) dropped a new album recently with some nice songs on it. Check this anti-Trump song out, it has an old school feel to it.

Your friend's right, Em slaughtered those no-good mumbling embarrassments on Kamikaze. I'd lost a lot of interest in hip-hop in recent years, but Kamikaze brought it back and now I dare say I've been listening to more rap than metal.
