Madmax 9,219
The number doesn't matter, what he does on the pitch does. But Ramires 7 does look good

Luke 60
I'm glad that our number 7 has now gone to a good player, the last half decent player to have it would probably have been Goldbaek or even John Spencer.
Term-X 7,891
The number doesn't matterShane and a few others have already caused the thread to derail by coming into a squad number discussion thread with that garbage.I don't come into a cricket thread and say it doesn't matter, and that people shouldnt worry about such a shitty inferior sport. Term-X 7,891
This is obviously about squad numbers, people obviously have opinions on it. If you don't want to read about squad numbers then don't come on this thread LOLAgreed.
Luke 60
In a perfect world out first XI would have numbers 1-11, but these days players have favourite numbers etc, JT was offered 5 a few years ago but stuck with 26, Zola stuck with 25, Deco liked 20, Ballack liked 13 etc... BlueLion. 21,491
Tests you as a goalkeeper as well, I saved two penalties last night! (one with my face, which doesn't help my good looks )Ramires is a super signing in my opinion. His versatility will really compliment our midfield. The great thing is, he is like Essien in terms of his reputation - when Essien joined us from Lyon he didn't have the biggest of reputations because he was 'only' playing in France. Much is the same for Ramires, a lot of rival fans (and just as many Chelsea supporters) don't know how good this kid is. When you come to a big club like Chelsea there is a lot of pressure, but I expect Ramires to be underestimated by a lot of teams this year.
