They range greatly across the US, the average is around $8US, but in places like NYC it can be $20 or more.

€14 a normal price here, which equals to around $18 if I'm not mistaken. Considering the much lower wages and ridiculously high income taxes, going to the cinema is even more steep here than in the US. Being a student there's no way I can afford to watch all the movies I'd like but even so I can't even imagine what it's like for low income families when four people going to the cinema costs a day's net wage.

That is just crazy! It is just not reasonable!

Got exams on thursday and friday. Annoying they are close together. But found out in my management accounting CW, i got 81 (first :getin: ) so that takes a bit of pressure of the exam.

Good luck to everyone else who has exams. And remember to hum the Rocky theme tune when walking into the exam. Works every time. :D

Lol, that actually happenned to a friend of mine. After the exams is crazy with everyone asking everyone what they got, but no one really remembers. As soon as i get it done i just forget about it. Nothing i can do from then.

CA takes upto 5 years? Didn't know that! Well congratulations!!

The actual internship lasts 3.5 years but because of all the exams in between we end up taking study leaves, which we are asked to compensate for at the end. If you have an understanding boss who's willing to waive that extension, you can leave at the end of 3.5 years (he'll still show you as an intern in his book till the period actually gets over), but mine wasn't.

Sweet. Congratulations in order.

Cheers.
