I think the red star was always a popular symbol in former Yugoslavia, but I might be wrong.

The club was formed by the Yugoslavian national army. Honestly, god knows what was really happening at Balkan during the II world war and since those who win usually write history I don't believe it that much.

But basically, communist soldiers led by Josip Broz Tito all had a red star on their berets and there is a red star even on the Yugoslavian flag so as Only Blue said, it was a very common and widely spread symbol.

It looks like happening, except it will be the USA fighting China. I don't think Europe will be involved, except as allies to the Americans. And yes, they are going to have it out, soon:

I firmly believe that there will be a major conflict between the USA and China, at least via proxy, within the next 10 years. They are both driving to war. Cold War all over again.

China and America wouldn't dare to have a war. They need eachother.

Besides, I don't want to die in a war, chances are us Aussies will be shipped off and used as canon fodder. But if history is proof, we tend to go insane at war.
