Been watching a bit of Air Crash Investigations on National Geographic (brilliant show) and plane crashes really are the worst kind.

Mate any crash where there is a death is heartbreaking. Specially for the person that has to go and ID their loved one.

It's an image that stays with you your whole life and very difficult to remember their faces any other way.

I am trying to find the best deal on the new camo pattern Chelsea pre-match jersey, but only Worldsoccershop/Soccer.com have it here, in the U.S., while the Chelseamegastore sells it for a bit more (shipped from the UK apparently).

Anyone know of a good alternative? I'm trying to avoid shipping or get a discount. Might need to wait a couple months, but these seem to be uncommon for retailers.

Its always really cold in Chicago in the winter. Thing the temp gets down to -15c or so, I lived in Michigan for a couple of years as a kid and remember we got snow deeper than I was tall once.

Was only thinking yesterday how cold it was here in London but fuck we are lucky!

No animals dying thru heat, No torrents of rain, no hurricanes, no tsunamis, no rivers freezing over! But yet if we get any deviation in weather conditions we whine, bitch, moan about it. Always have and suppose always will.

But every fuckin year the country grinds to a halt for little shit like wet leaves on the railway line or no grit on the road when they know sodding well that there might be snow at sometime but they have no grit to lay!!

Rant over!

HMV reveals which 27 stores have closed after sale to Canadian music boss

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2019/feb/05/hmv-bought-doug-putman-stores-jobs

With less and less CDs and vinyl being bought something had to snap but I never thought I'd see the day that a big chain like HMV having to seel some of their stores. Specially the one on Oxford Street. Its a national treasure.

Its like tower records when that shut down.

I phoned the manager of the Ox St branch today and asked him if I could spend a night going thru his old 45 stock in the basement or wherever they keep them. I told him about my collecting and  said if I found owt good I'd keep them and give him 1/2 the current value for them.

He goes whats stopping him from looking himself. So I asked him if he knew what to look for! He said probably not but wouldn't let me look at them. Bot even for a couple of hours with an employee with me!!

The shops been there since 1921 there must be a ton of old dusty boxes full of 45s

Would be like being in heaven!

RIP Emiliano Sala (1990-2019), such a tragic way to lose your life, body found in the plane wreckage has been identified as Sala's, life is too short. RIP to the pilot David Abbotson who also ended up losing his life in this tragic accident, there needs to be serious and torough aircraft revisions in the future to avoid tragedies like this, not so long ago it was the Chapecoense team that met their fate because of lack of fuel in the plane, there are some things i just can't understand, the staff of airport have one job and it is to guarantee the safety of the pilots and passangers. :(
