I don't get the point of keeping him at the club. Either should have loaned him out again or simply sold him because his value will be pretty down after not playing this season at all. Even if we loan him out in January it will be some shit club in the Championship and his development will have stalled then and boom, suddenly he's another Kalas.

Anyone who thinks Bertrand can now or eventually play LB for Chelsea FC has lost their fucking mind.

He is 1000000000% not a defensive player!

With Mou putting Kennedy in LB with Bane still on the pitch owt can happen.

I see him being played. Mou wouldnt have kept him on for 5 years like this on different loans and bring him back into the squad for him not to play. I'd be very suprized if he wasn't.

Mourinho didn't keep him at Chelsea all those years, the club did. Mourinho wasn't even at the helm when Bertrand first joined us on trial.

You know what I mean - Im sure IF Mou hadn't want him around I'm bloomin sure he wouldn't be registered for the CL eh

Just like Mourinho wouldn't have registered Baker and Ake last season if he didn't intend to play them.........

Nothing like optimism is there?

I save my bitching for the times the players/manager that aren't playing well not for what hasn't happened yet. Nothings written in stone. Gotta wait and see.

But then again Mous team selection does wind the fuck up out of me sometime. Like NOW! But I'd bankrupt the club in 2 seasons.
