Kez 2,727
Will be absolutely gutted for Robbie if he doesn't get the job, just keep thinking about him climbing the steps and shouting "I won it!" to Roman. WTF do you have to do to have a totally secure job as manager of Chelsea... apparently even now the Champions league isn't enough.

Obviously, he did the right thing by implementing the style that suits the team to get those results, unlike AVB but that is what Roman probably not conviced with right now. If he was given the job & time to create his own team then we wouldn't be playing how we did against Barca & Bayern.

Knowing Roman's obsession, he would want someone who has done it before and a big name manager to manage the club.

We've won the CL and Roman should take it easy a bit. This is a classic case of over-planning.
xPetrCechx 13,570
Hollins: Di Matteo is not going to be Chelsea bossFormer Chelsea boss John Hollins believes Roberto Di Matteo will be overlooked for the manager's job at Stamford Bridge despite leading the club to Champions League and FA Cup glory during his interim spell in charge.http://www.talksport...sea-boss-173707
OneMoSalah 8,886
Everyday since the CL final I think Robbie's chances of being appointed as the manager have deteriorated sadly. Roman as well all know wants the big names, Mourinho, Scolari, Hiddink, Ancelotti and even Villas-Boas(not as big a name) after the reputation he gained with that season at Porto, all prove that. Guardiola could be next but I doubt it will happen tbh.
Santiago. 1,500
Robbie did the best with what we had & strolled off with 2 cups. If he was given the job & time to create his own team then we wouldn't be playing how we did against Barca & Bayern.Exactly. Many are suggesting that purchasing Hazard and Hulk + Marin, that their talents are going to be used to waste like Mata, and that "Hope Hazard can learn to play LB". Is just absolutely absurd. The reason being for our defensive performances was due to the fact that our players out on the pitch were not capable of performing against the likes of the others clubs in Europe head to head. RDM did what he had to do to get the result and to suit the current squads strengths.

Jase 43,479
Age does not define a manager. I think capello has some attitude problems though.Don't think his style of management is gonna be suitable in England. Almost too strict being an Italian & players won't like that. On top all of that, if we are to progress forward, we need a younger & hungrier manager and not one who is looking for one last big pay job!I know what you mean, but I'd rather him over the inexperienced Pep.Think I would prefer Guardiola over Capello. Superblue 6,372
Still hoping Robbie will stay here. The jobs he was linked to - Liverpool, Villa, Napoli and Lazio have all been taken up now.
robdog 2,084
before Hazard made his decision to sign w/ CFC, he spoke w/ RDM. If you can read French, check this outI have exchanged with Roman Abramovich, were on the same wavelength. And I have also discussed with the coach. "We talked my positioning, what position I preferred.
