Miguelito 459
guy is pure class. i think he would be great. someone that can actually open the oppositions defense and has the skill to get past players. my only concern is in the games ive watched for palermo he seems a little bit cocky (not really a problem) and every now and then gets lazy
termninja 5,290
For me, Lampard is more than just a 20-goal midfielder. He embodies the spirit of the club, he's one half of the heart of this team (the other being Terry). He joined the club at a very young age, before Roman, and he was one of the few to go beyond when we had the mass clear-out to make way for the new talent. Lampard & Terry represent Chelsea's spirit but also English contingency. Wears his heart on his sleeve and will give all for club and country. A player who will retire with us, as we become his last club. The only player to fill these shoes, that comes to my mind, is McEachran for now.Nicely said. JoulJoul 20
Top post. People go on about Lukaku as if he is the bollocks... is he as good as people on here say he is he wouldn't be in the belgian league now. Might be good maybe but he isn't the answer to our problems now.:goodpost:
chelseanetwork 0
I saw Pastore playing several times when he was playing for Huracan, he was good but still far from the player we need
strong centreback 157
Palermo claim £43m Pastore bidPalermo president Maurizio Zamparini claims he is considering a £43million offer for Argentina starlet Javier Pastore.Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are all said to be keen on the 21-year-old Argentine international.Pastore has already declared he is happy to stay in Sicily, but a summer move is being widely predicted as Palermo are currently floundering in mid-table.Serie A surprise package Napoli had even been linked, but Zamparini quickly dismissed that."Javier is out of Napoli's reach," Zamparini told Radio Kiss Kiss."Besides, I have already received a €50m offer for Pastore and still have to give an answer."If I were Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, I wouldn't sign him for that price."Could be us, ancelotti is apparently a big admirer of the boy and roman may well be on the verge of bank rolling a few big signings for the summer. Peace. 4,352
For that amount, it should be either City, Real or us.I would like us to sign him, but for that money it's just crazy.

St Abramovich 175
43 million for Pastore doesn't sound that bad when you think, he's exactly what we need and Carrol cost 35.
termninja 5,290
£43 too fucking much...I'd give 35 max...strangely he was around 45mil in FM when I tried to sign him so I gave up. Damn Palermo...
LDN Blue 7,903
and Carrol cost 35.That's hardly justification.Liverpool paid that sum out of desperation. They had to replace Torres and had a £50million kitty to do it, Mike Ashley orchestrated it fantastically. We're in a much better position and we don't need to pay such amounts for such an unproven player.
calculatingInfinity 1,477
Is he seriously worth that? I've never even heard of this guy..He is worth what the clubs want to offer for him so yes, it's not like Torres being amazingly overpriced held us back in the last transfer window. That you never heard of the guy hardly makes him a worse footballer, he has become a regular on the argentinian national team and is one of the top players in serie a so you must just not be following football outside England a lot I guess, he is only 21 year old and is a future star and will imo be a bigger profile on our team than any of our current midfielders, he got a technique is that at times out of this world and really just is the full package for a attacking midfielder and still got lots of time to develop even more. This is easily the midfielder I would like to have in Chelsea the most who we can realistically get (so no not Messi). Hamsik is good but not close to Pastore's level imo.But that is not to say that this news is correct, Zamparini is a crazy compulsive liar and a huge cunt. He also claimed Kjær was getting sold at one point for way way more than he ended up getting sold for to a English club.
Feroze 487
Pastore 'staying' at PalermoPalermo president Maurizio Zamparini says in-demand playmaker Javier Pastore has decided to stay at the club next season.Pastore is coveted by many of Europe's leading clubs, and reports recently claimed thatManchester United were spearheading the chase for the Argentina international.Zamparini also revealed that he was considering a €50million (£43m) offer for Pastore from an unnamed club, which he has subsequently turned down.Barcelona,Chelsea and Manchester Cityare other teams to have been linked with bids for Pastore, but Zamparini does not expect to lose the player in the summer.Intelligent"Pastore wants to remain at Palermo," Zamparini said to Gazzetta dello Sport. "He is a very intelligent man, who wants to improve."He has decided to remain with us for another year."Pastore has also attracted the attentions of Serie A clubs Napoli and Roma, who are both keen to sign the 21-year-old, who joined Palermo in 2009 from Huracan."I have already turned down a 50million euro offer for Pastore," Zamparini said. "Even if Chelsea were to make an offer this year, he would not move."Barcelona already made an offer and I said to them that this year he would not leave."Pastore is Palermo's top scorer with 10 league goals in 30 appearances so far this season and is under contract with the Serie A club until June 2014.SkySports
Guest justin_3d
After Sanchez and Van der Wiel i put him third on my list. Chelsea is desperately in need of some creativity, and when i see this guy play, it reminds me a lot of David Silva. Their touch are somewhat a like. I think if Carlo stay, Pastore looks like a guy into Carlo liking and style. But his price is something of concern....
Madmax 9,219
Zamparini has now confirmed that he could cash in on Pastore, having previously valued the player at €60 million."Pastore is the only player who could leave," he told Radio Radio. "It all depends on the boy. He earns less than €1 million and if a big club offered him €4 million then it would be hard to keep him. Palermo can't afford that and we have to balance the books."Zamparini has claimed AC Milan, Inter, Juventus, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona all want Pastore, and that one of the Italian clubs have already made a direct enquiry. Manchester United and Liverpool have also been linked with the player.Zamparini is Palermo owner btw.
LDN Blue 7,903
Zamparini is Palermo owner btw.I love Zamparini. He's such a comic, I think he's put in a €100million buy-out clause in Pastore's contract and genuinely believed that was his worth
