Chelsea FC vs Everton

12 Dec 09, FAPL, Stamford Bridge, 1500 KO

Chelsea host Everton in a crucial Premier League clash.

The Blues drew both Premier League fixtures against the Toffees last season, recording 0-0 draws both home and away, though under Guus Hiddink's management, Saturday's hosts won the FA Cup final 2-1 against this opposition.

Can the Blues record a first league win over Everton since April 2008?

Right. Time for another unbeaten run. They will be buoyed by teh comeback against the yids, but Carlos boys will be fired up by the recent misses against Citeh.

Hopefully by Saturday evening the gap will have widened and Villa get something at the Theatre of Shit...

Dodgy game. That Everton team are crap and injury ridden but it's still a game that will be tough. We haven't drawn a game all season, i can see us drawing this even tho really they are there for the taking, rubbish team. Either a 1-1, 2-1 scrap or 4-0 easy win.

Chelsea will be without midfielder Deco for Saturday's Barclays Premier League home clash with Everton at Stamford Bridge.

Deco misses out because his father is ill and defender Alex (thigh) and Salomon Kalou (thigh) are also sidelined.

However, both Alex and Kalou are expected to be fit for the home game with Portsmouth next week. Jose Bosingwa is out with a long-term knee injury.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti will recall Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, Ashley Cole, Michael Ballack, Frank Lampard and Nicolas Anelka after resting them for the midweek Champions League game against APOEL.
