Just watched the whole match now - I thought he had a very good game, reminded me of his Watford days. Made tackles, interceptions, blocks, and initiates attacks with his quick, first touch passing in a simialr way to Matic does. Created a chance right at the end with a lovely reverse pass for Adomah which he really should have scored. Starting to show his real ability again.

Think he's got a great chance based on his skill, physical strength (seems to have a bit more later on in games this season) and his attitude.

His talent is unquestionable. Just can't see us giving minutes to such an inexperienced player.

We'll loan him out to wherever until his contract ends.

Now we've got Matic as a stable presence in midfield then we can probably look to blood young players, much like we were with Van Ginkel. It's the new reality and there's no reason why Nat shouldn't get minutes next year (if he stays) with the possible departures of Mikel and Luiz. He only signed a new five year contract five months ago.

Jose did say he wanted him in our squad next year. With Essien already gone and Mikel and Lampard extremely likely to leave in the next 18 months I do think there's a good chance he can make it here. If he doesn't it'll definitely be our loss
