the wes 7,212
Peter Kenyon is battling to keep hold of his job at Chelsea, it has been revealed. In the wake of the Kakuta controversy, the Independentsays Kenyon will be trying hard to distance himself from FrankArnesen's acquisition of Kakuta but he was part of the talks thatrejected Lens' appeal for a €5m fee. He has done his best to fight theDane for Abramovich's preferment but has not succeeded. If he cannotuse this to defeat Arnesen then he never will. The feeling is that Kenyon cannot win this one and that already Arnesen is edging him out. The end could be soon. tribalfootball.com
Ray. 217
I must say he gives me the impression of being incompetent. I've not warmed to him at all. He came from Man U didn't he? That probably says it all. That's just my opinion.
ZanSnake 1,211
I am kind of mixed on this, in someways he has done a good job, bringing in good money from sponsor deals and stuff, but this whole mess has really challenged how much Chelsea have faith in him. They should defiantely scak Arnesen though.

He's transformed our youth academy, your just saying that because the media suggests our youth academy is a failure if you actually look into it we have one of the best in the world and just because the players haven't matured enough to play in the first team people think it's bad. I can assure you in the next few years we will have many of youth players that get first team opportunities.

Are you freaking retarded!?It is because of his 'technique' of convincing those youngsters to come to this club which has put us in this trouble. Yes, we may have an excellent bunch of youngsters, but with the ways that they have been brought in, which is 'illegal' in FIFA/UEFA ruling. And it is Arnesen's job to work within those restrictions to get us players in a way that isn't going to ban us for fucking 2 transfer windows. But i would love to see those talented youngsters giving their chances in a less hectic atmosphere. Because Arnesen failed to work within the restrictions he has put this club under FIFA's judgemental hammer, and if he actually did his fucking job properly then many of us fans wouldn't be calling for the sack. This has nothing to do with the media, it is basics, Chelsea put a responsibility to him and he fucked up. He made the mistake and he should face the concequences. Kakuta's mum signed the contract for a start and we contacted UEFA about buying him. Arnesen was well within his right to sign Kakuta. He has worked within those restrictions and we have been wrongly prosecuted as we will find out during the trial. I shall hold you to your words until after the trial, the man has not done anything wrong.
