Michael Clarke has recently been named (rightfully) the best batsman in the world in the ICC rankings. As I said before, facts don't lie. The guy is, as of late, Bradman-esque. We should have beaten South Africa. We really have improved tons.

The reaolve shown by De Villiers and Du Plessis on his debut was quite remarkable...great test match...

Indeed, it was a gutsy innings. Australia should have done better though. We had enough time to bowl them out. The No.1 test ranking is now on the line in the last match.

Aleem Dar had his usual nonsense this George Dobell tweet says it all:

"It turns out I use the same tailor as Aleem Dar. Which, seeing as he has recently gone blind, might not be such a good thing. #nc"

But still I was very disappointed. And I continue to stress how shitty Dhoni is for our test team.

Sad to see Ricky Ponting retire today. In my opinion he is Australia's best ever. The game will miss his fantastic stroke play!

Congrats to Ricky Ponting on an amazing career... helluva player! Cricket fans will miss his masterful strokes(esp the hook and pull).

Well, this is just sad. Michael Clarke breaks down when asked about Ponting's retirement.

Looking forward to the 3rd test, India smashed us, we smashed them back so now be nice to see a tougher contest and a draw leading into the 4th test. It's always nice going into the last test all to play for. If only Indian boy Monty had played the first test....

Biggest understatement of the year. He is not Australia's best. I find it hard to see anyone (From any country) ever being better than the Don.

I don't get it. How is me calling Ricky a very good batsman an understatement??

Monty was lethal in Mumbai. But i got to say Indian batsmen made a mockery of themselves. 2 test gone and except Cook and KP, none of the English batsmen have looked good in this series. Hope we get Cook and KP cheaply but may be some one new would make a century in Eden Gardens. I am placing my bets on Compton.
