look, you vs the best teams of europe im sure that has more merit of being the best team in the world rather than winning the premier league. im not saying the premier league isnt prestigious but just as is winning any league of the world. but there is something more to winning europe.

you may play all year round but you play the best teams in the league as well as the worst.

in europe u play the elite teams of the best footballing nations.

Every team has up's and down's in a season. Ok, So its the Champions League Quater Final, You win the first leg 1-0. You have a shite day and lose 2-0 and your out.

In the premiership, You get a chance to redeem yourself. Bouncing back from bad results is a sign of a great team, You don't get a chance to do that in the Champions League.

No tournament can be won by pure luck, the CL definitely not. You can still win the premiership by losing/drawing against the likes of Manure, Lpool, Arsenal, Villa but beating most of the others. Can you win the CL that way, I don't think so. You have to beat at least some of the best in the world to win it.

That is a ridiculous inflammatory comment. I don't need my "head checking". I just prioritise a competition where form over a season determines who wins over a knockout competition which is down to luck.

Once we get the champs league the first time i'll probs say league every year but this champs league is something that we aint ever won and we cant possibly come any closer. We'll then get a chance to perform for the honour of being the best team in the world in the club world cup thing and the super cup. Thats the only way to get recognized world wide and to be seen as a big club. Its the next step forward for brand Chelsea

Like most people have and will reply, I would like to win the CL only if we win the premier league title that year.

As you have all seen over the years, the CL can be rigged, Besides i like to have the premiership winners patches on my Chelsea kit the next year. When you think about it the CL is only about 13 games if you make the final, the premiership is 4 times that. Come to think of it, i would much rather win the Premiership every year then win the Champions league. I know Sempre Juve will probably disagree, but winning the English title is like being the best in the world anyway.
