What?! Where you in Edinburgh? Wish I had visited this thread earlier. I'm always up town and could have told you the hot spots lol. Where did you go?

I haven't gone yet. Going on 6th Jan to the 8th! I've been to Edinburgh once but only went through it and then I fell in love with some hottie who drove me around on his quad bike. Anyway yeah my friend has been twice with college and she said its class so im real excited! I think our flight gets in at 7pm so will head out straight away!

Worth every penny spent. I ended up getting it with a Solid State Hardrive. Also the high resolution screen with the high end i7 quad core processor. Starts up in about 7 seconds. Shuts down in about 2 seconds, by far one of the fastest machines you can get on the market. It doesn't miss a beat.

But macs are known to be notoriously overpriced, how can it be "worth every penny" :P

Mac use better parts then PC's and i did a custom upgrade and got better parts put in. Reliablity and the operating system alone are worth spending the extra bit. I work with with computers and am over the amout of repairs and other crap i deal with on a daily basis. In the 5 years i have worked with computers, i would of returned about 8-10 Macs in total in comparison to about 2-3 PC's weekly.

I don't believe i know for fact. I sell computers 5 days a week.

So you are saying that Apple computers contain some sort of superior hardware parts that are not on the market (even though they come from generic suppliers/manufacturers)?

No i'm not saying that at all. I'm saying companies like HP, Acer, Sony ETC, use infiriour parts in there machines. If you custom build a PC then you can get something very good for good money but if you buy a already built PC, most of the parts are cheap.

Not so much a purchase but I have made my own Christmas jumper. Blue wooly one. On the front is 3 snowmen under a big Christmas Tree, the first snowman is Frank Lampard, the second one is Fernando and the third one is Terry. They all have red hats on. Then I've got pieces of Ribbon on each shoulder with cfc crests dangling from them. Haven't finished the back yet but it will be a picture of John Terry with the caption 'Justice for John'. Yeah I'm weird.
