middleoftheshed 388
He may not have set the league alight but he always gave 100% which is all we ask for as supporters.
EskWeston 696
Thought Sheva was a little hard done by really. He always worked hard and things never worked out for him on the scoring front but was it just a coincindence that when Sheva was partnering Drogba upfront Drogba had his best season ever and was banging goals in left right and centre?? I don't think there is a place for Sheva in our squad anymore but it was a real shame what happened to him.

I certainly think there is a place for him in the squad, if we're keeping plebs like Malouda.
ForeverBlue22 0
I'd definetly like yo see Shevcenko back, I think unlike some players who've come in, he did try hard and got a lot of stick
bombayblue™ 55
FEw million in transfer fees or no need to spend for a backup striker and of sheva's calibre.. i really wouldn't mind either way..
SuperSheva7 0
I would love to see Sheva back, but of course I'm biased
Steve 10,227
At the end of the day wheather we get sheva back or not i do not really mind. He is a real work horse and gives 100 percent every game. Remember before he hurt his back towards his last season he had 3 or 4 really good games in a row and scored some brilliant goals. I think he can do great things for our squad in the future just to bring him in the train with the youngsters like di santo for example. gary gordon 1,777
I always loved Sheva as a player and a person. I loved how he stood up and took charge when we had all those injuires and the African Cup. He truly was underrated at Chelsea. He saved our asses on the line agaisnt Man you at the bridge last year, and scored our last goal of the EPL season. Bring back sheva i say. His service to Drogba is sublime. Alee. 182
Always liked him, and i think there is definitely a place for him in the team, he knows he'll be a back up striker, so shouldnt moan, and a back-up of Sheva's class, Who'd say no? Ollie 4,400
Well we used him on the wings or as a lone striker which dont suit him. If you gonna pay 30m for a player, at least play him in his rightful position. Liked seeing him in the tunnel with Frank and Ashley. If Drogs or Anelka get injured or suspended or w/e (doubt they will play all 60 games lol) then it be good to see Sheva partner one up top. He always gave 100%. In a 4-4-2 we would probably see glimpses of the old Shevchenko
pablo814 1
He wasn't a flop, but definitely did not live up to his expectations or the fee we paid for him...
BlueLion. 21,491
It didn't help him being played out of position in fairness.
