What’s even the point playing him there? We have Enzo, Lavia, KDH, Caicedo, Ugo, Gallagher and Andrey Santos currently in the squad. Really we need to experience with more options? Can’t players above cover what “Marescaball” needs, whatever it is?

Agreed.  Miss seeing him bombing up the right side.  Great crosser of the ball and smashed some goals in from there just seems wasted in this role

Early days but this experiment of having James tuck into the center, especially in the defensive phase, leaving the CB Fofana to deal with the wide attacker, is failing. None of our CBs have good awareness or positioning to deal with that situation.
