Ollie 4,400
He would sooner retire than go to them. He should go to Milan or something. They need a keeper desperately.
BlueLion. 21,491
Now that's one thing I could see happening, Ollie. Good call there, I've always though Carlo would play his last year back home.

BlueLion. 21,491
TBH, I can see Carlo leaving. If we get a good price for him then so be it, he deserves to play his final years as a number 1. Wouldn't mind seeing young Hart coming the other way.
Kez 2,727
Good call BL, Hart is a decent looking keeper and English. Carlo will never be number 1 at Chelsea again but he's a fantastic servant to the club Edited January 12, 2009 by Kez
BlueLion. 21,491
Completely agreed, and its because of that reason I would be happy to see him go. Arguably he is my favourite all-time Chelsea player after Gudjohnsen, but I'd love to see him play out his career for an up-and-coming team where he will play ever week and his experience will be crucial. diskoviolente 425
He can be a "Petr Cech" for another Club. Brilliant goalkeeper. He was one of the reasons we reached CL final last year. Hope he gets a good last years
Matterz 67
Its all well and good us selling our fringe players, but it would be nice if we actually replaced them with decent quality! Our bench this season has looked as poor as any in the league to be honest
Steve 10,227
EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea keeper Cudicini moves across town to Spurs in £1million deal Tottenham have clinched the signing of Chelsea’s Carlo Cudicini for around £1 million. Manager Harry Redknapp moved for the 35-year-old Italian after growing concerned about his goalkeepers. First-choice Heurelho Gomes has been playing through injury and Cesar Sanchez, who is deemed sub-standard, has been allowed to join Valencia until the end of the season. Gomes has adapted to the Premier League after an initially disastrous switch from PSV last summer, but Cudicini will provide stiff competition for the Brazilian after finally stepping out of the shadows at Stamford Bridge. Cudicini, whose Chelsea contract ends in the summer, moved to the club 10 years ago but he has been second choice to Petr Cech since the Czech arrived in 2004. He has only made 25 League starts in the last five seasons and has been frustrated at his place in the Chelsea pecking order. DailyMail Apparently he will be leaving for spurs tomorrow, its going to be so sad to see carlo go but if he is going to get first team football than i think it is best for him but to spurs i do not agree. EskWeston 696
Not that suprising to see him move on, it is now or never for him. But why Spurs??? So Hilario will be number 2 and Rhys Taylor will get bumped up to the first team squad.
Elliott 7
Well maybe Cudicini will have a little twilight to his career. I hope we stick with what we have, to give the reserve keepers a chance to develop.

I believe Nic Heimann has been training with the first team as well recently.

Aesthetic Relic 301
Carlo was a great servant to the club. Obviously sad to see him go but he deserves to be playing at the top level on a regular basis.
