dodojojo 510
McGarry's tweet said also that RA believes Kun can play with Torres. I didn't watch them play, but from what I've read their one year partnership at AM didn't work. Caveat being that it was only a year and Kun was just 18 at the time. What I do like about him is that he's reportedly very serious about football and competing. Something along the lines of teammates like him but he would be more popular if he would lighten up. I like that, reminds me of Torres. I would lose just tiny, tiny bit of respect for Kun if he does join Real Madrid. I'm totally for player movement, but AM to RM would be a bit much. But it's been done before so anything is possible. dodojojo 510
I do hope that he doesn't join Madrid. It wouldn't be fair XD Then Real and Barcelona (with Fabregas) would be too strong...Another reason I wouldn't want Kun to go to RM. It's getting ridiculous at Barca and RM. Barca have Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and Villa? RM will have Ronaldo, Ozil, Xabi Alonso and Kun? You may as well leave the CL trophy to the two of them for the next 3-5 years. Slam Dunk 1,442
THE TIME TO GO "I said long ago that when he wanted to go, I would say publicly. And the time has come. So I do my word and here I am. I find it hard to leave Atletico. It hurts and saddens me. But I find it hard to explain what I do." "I've thought long and I am convinced that I must be true to myself. I do not think I put a ceiling on the ability to keep learning, to keep growing. After five years of intense personal stage is over and I have to give way to a new one. I'm about to turn 23 and I have everything before. Suffice it to say that this is not an economic issue but strictly sports. So I want to clearly express my appreciation to the club for the efforts he has made for keeping up with a salary according to the largest institutions in the world. I want to say also that this decision have been maturing for some time. Even the issue was discussed and agreed with Atletico last year on the occasion of renewing my contract. I wanted to sign, renew, as a way to return the club and all the mattress all you have given me. Have not done so, had stayed in freedom of action and the institution had not received any money for my transfer. I then had the promise of the Club would not impediments to my eventual departure in June 2011.So attentive to that commitment and unwavering view of my decision, I asked him to listen without any conditions that may get offers from different clubs. And for the fans, my eternal gratitude. Not trying to be original or say the politically correct. I'd rather say what I feel, beyond all other considerations. Because I know that the only way they will understand is if I do from my heart. That was the way I felt I talked all these years, with sincere love and affection. You are already part of my identity and a way of understanding football. We share joys and disappointments. The 101 goals and obtaining two titles after so many years of drought. I will never forget the celebration in Neptune and that night in Barcelona when we could not win the Copa del Rey. Well worth it, right? All those experiences ended up reaffirming something in me that I have from childhood: the desire to compete, win and be among the best with the only weapons I have: my game and my love for football. I do not want to fall into the commonplace to say that this is not a goodbye but a see you later. But if you say something once told me that said a very famous Argentinean tango, Anibal Troilo and that is very appropriate for this time: "Who said I left? If I'm ever going ... " A hug for everyone. I love you. " Kun
termninja 5,290
It is a right move in his career though. He's ready for some real football. Still somehow, I find it hard to implement him in our team though If we get him, then it's back to 4-4-2 and a big risk with Torres partnership, but hey, if someone can do it, then it's these two. Kun and El Nino.
Tortilla9 390
AM fans can understand him leaving but leaving to RM is going to leave a bad taste for many AM fans. That is one of the reasons Torres is loved by AM fans because he has always ruled out RM because of loyalty to AM.

Yes, 45 million euro is a big risk for us, but i think we should sign him, or just try to sign him. :\ But the other problem is the manager... who want to join to the Chelsea, where nobody knows who will be the next manager... and the last problem.... if Abramovich will sign him, it will be difficult for the new manager to create tactic for the player staff.... When Torres left AM and then returned with Liverpool to play Real Madrid in the CL, the abuse he received from the "White" side of Madrid was hostile (an understatement). RM is definitely the big dog in the fight but leaving AM to go to RM would be a slap in the face to the AM faithful. Barcelona they could understand, RM they could not forgive even with the $ RM would give them.
RX8 40
I do Belive Sergio did this because someone convicent him to go, the real question who did it?? Was it mourinho or chelsea o money talk city??All have posibilities Real with mou because well we all know he can make rival to sell player to him acroos the street go ask A. Cole about it. Chelsea has been interested for a loan time and after Torres maybe we are Good enought to Buy big names like Agüero. And of course there is money talk City. Money is the only way to make player go play for them go ask YAYA

As things stand I see Guus leading us again, and he's a man who knows what he wants, and a man that has been advising us on transfer for some time now. BLionheart 516
Ridiculously Good , He is IMO the best SS in the world but since we don't play with two strikers he can comfortably play on both wings or as a CF If / When torres is injured. He has said it before he will fit in here like a hand in a glove , i can see him turning into quiet a big star and a fan favorite if he decides to wear blue next season. Between him , Alexis Sanchez and Neymar ... i will be the happiest man if we get 2 of them and although aguero and neymar look more realistic since we have been targeting them for a long time but Alexis Sanchez is Exactly the wide man we need . Makaveli 59
If two strikers leave the team, then he is welcome. No doubt he can be great transfer if price is set to normal numbers. He reminds me of Tevez (best SS in the world, top 5 forwards in the world) and fits perfect to Premier League. For real Kun shouldn't stay anymore in La Liga garbage if he wants to move to highest level. I personally think City will battle us so much as Tevez is leaving and they'll be looking for some copy of Carlitos as their play is based on player like this.
