Im not sure how long anelka will be with us ..but aguerro's wage demands could block a move ..

signs are we are going to cut back on wages ...a policy I agree with

Yes you are right with the wage cut thing and certainly the stories are that Aguero is demanding a very high salery. But Aguero or Pato would be the best signing we could make in my opinion.

i would rather have aguero than pato in my team .... pato is much more fragile and gets injured a lot ... also aguero plays with more heart sometimes he looks like a very very skillful tevez ..... exactly what we need

also about the wage demand thing i think they will only cut the wages of players who are way overpaid like ballack joe cole and anelka ..... they wont do it with terry lampard or drogba because they deserve thier wages ...... so i agree that el kun is asking for too much and we probably shouldnt agree with that but we have to be prepared to pay a lot to get a player with his quality ........ imo we should get him no matter what ...

we bought ballack and sheva with too much many and gace them too much wages when they were over 30 .... we had the opportunity to sign ribery 3 years ago with 25 millions and we didnt take it ...... so lets just for once sign the right person at the right age .....

anelka is inconsistent, and anyways he's a winger for us

fact of the matter is sergio aguero is the type of player we need, anelka has quality players around him so of course he will score. Just not when we want him to like against inter or in a champions league penalty shootout.

his age plus aguero's potential to blow up the prem outweighs the times when he has a good game.

Manchester United and Chelsea plot Sergio Aguero move as Argentine says he is ready to listen to offers

sergio-aguero370x270.jpg

Aguero has been hot on Chelsea's radar since the last two summers.

Argentina star Sergio Aguero has put Chelsea and Manchester United on alert by declaring he is ready to consider offers this summer.

The 21-year-old has stayed fiercly loyal to Atletico Madrid despite interest from Europe's top clubs, but a summer departure seems after the club's disappointing season in La Liga.

Chelsea came close to a £45million British record move for the striker last year - about £10m short of a bid that would meet the release clause written into his contract.

United also eyed a move after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid for £80million but were put off by his high wage demands.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are both admirers, while Inter Milan have also been linked with a move, and Aguero told Italian journalists: 'I am very happy that a club like Inter are after me.

'This makes me happy. But this is no time to talk about the transfer market.

'In June I will evaluate, along with the club, the offers that will come in. The priority is that the teams reach an agreement.'

Diego Maradona, Aguero's international boss and father-in-law-to-be, is an admirer of Serie A and recently told Javier Mascherano that he would be better off in Italy than Liverpool.

And Aguero said: 'Serie A has a big following in Spain because it is a very difficult and competitive league. We follow Inter, Milan but also my good friend (Ezequiel) Lavezzi’s Napoli.'

Atletico must decide whether to spend another summer trying to fend off offers at a time when they have huge debts.

The club some how find themselves in a Europa League semi-final against Liverpool despite winning just one of their last 12 European ties, but the achievement masks a poor showing in the league.

Atletic turned around early-season fears that they would be drawn into a relegation battle, but still sit 10th after years of fighting for the Champions League places.

God forbid if he joined United or City in the summer after we've been interested in him for so long :mouthclosed:

If we continue to play 433, where does he play? We need a good right winger, not a second striker.

Aguero plays on the wing as well, he could play on the right in a 3 man attack with Drogba in the middle, Malouda on the left.

No aguero would just fail playing out wide, he needs to be in the middle of the park in the final third to cause damage.

You're absolutely right. He isnt a winger at all and he would he just fail at Chelsea if he were to play there. Since Ancelotti finally realised that the 4-3-3 formation is the formation that suits us best, Aguero is not needed.

He isnt '' Premier League striker '' material and i would be happy if Ancelotti decides not to buy him. His price tag is too high (60 mil euros) and his wage demands are crazy.

We need a good young winger and playmaker.

aguero will be a perfect signing .... he can play as a winger and will be great also he is a second striker not a CF

he has a great touch very efficient with a great technique .....

also his movement on the pitch is more than great he knows how to be in good places .....

he is just 21 .... by the way he is not weak he has a great balance and he is kinda like rooney when it comes to that so stop fuckin saying he is not premier league material ....... and he has great pace as well ...

he is what we neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

I don't know why but when i watching him (i try to watch atletico games whenever i can) i got strange feeling he should be our main target ! I'll be happy if we sign him ,he got talnet, he's young and definitly he is hungry for thophies !!! We need that kind of players !!

Being linked again in quite a few of the papers today.

£50m is the latest fee mentioned.

it will always be around that price because his buy out clause is 55millin euro's but he is worth it. we need some young talent like him because sturridge and kalou are ok but when drogba and anelka go they are'nt going to be able to keep us at the top of the prem

If we sign Sergio Aguero, I'll be one very happy man. Almost half as happy as if we got Benzema. Won't happen. Unfortunately.

[/qui will over the moon i think aguero is better than benzema. benzema done it in france but now he's at madrid you don't hear nothing from him and aguero has proved himself in the spanish league, at international level and when he played us he scored them two wonder goals

Think he would definitely be a great signing, he's young and talented, and unfortunately Drogba is 32 now. Maybe a couple of season playing along side him would set him up perfectly for when it would be time for him to replace the big guy
