I think he is proven, his goal record in la liga is 102 goals in 234 games, i think that is very good, imagine what he can do when he is playing in an actual world class side.

And no, i think the reason why he hasn't moved is because he wanted to stay loyal to Atletico.

Also in my opinion i think he is more proven than Neymar. Neymar gets out muscled in the Brazilian league for god sake, imagine if he was playing in a decent league. It's funny because Lucas from Liverpool actually looked good in the Brazilian league, and in no way am i comparing Neymar to Lucas lol, but he might not be the potential world best player every one is making him out to be.

If you are saying Aguero is not proven, than Neymar is most definitely not. I dunno he might become one of the best players in the world, but im not that impressed with them wanting us to spend 40m on him. He gets knocked of the ball far too easy, he also losses the ball far too much, he dives ( and i know you said that south americans dont mind, but jesus if hes that good he shouldnt have to cheat), and lastly he has one of the worst attitudes in football, like when he never passed the ball to his team mates for the whole match. Haha him being incosistent in the past is absolutely normal. He just turned 23, 2 June, not every player can be like R9 or Messi (as in, consistently world-class at a very young age). Cristiano didn't become world-class until he was 23 and look at him now. Or what about Dinho and Zidane? And no I'm not saying Aguero will reach that level with all certainty, though he has all the talent to do so.

And his goal-scoring record, see Terry07's post, is highly impressive for someone was 18-22 during that time, mostly playing as a second striker and not even playing for a world-class side.

Robinho = overrated player. Never lived up to the expectations at Madrid. I'm glad he went to City, he was a Madrid's flop and we were going to pay a huge price for him. He wasn't a flop at PL, PL clubs were idiots to pay more for him than Madrid paid, he was already a flop when he went to England.

Think this thread is going a little off topic. The reason footballers cost so much and wages are so high is because , so many people pay to watch and participate in the sport. for example you wouldnt buy a season ticket to watch a fireman do his job (maybe a bad example but you know what im saying) if you did they would be a thousands of pounds.

As for Aguero , i dont think we will get him because i dont see any forwards leaving this summer , if anything we will bolster the midfield and Aguero will cost the earth anyway , didnt he once say he wanted £250,000 a week to play for us.... he will end up at Madrid or City will pay over the odds for him.
