Surely cannot be any fucking worse than Caicedo at the moment. And if he is, then not good enough and should be loaned or sold.

He’s better simply because he’s tall and strong. I’d play him over caicedo all day

What about this guy? Where are you Leslie??

Not like we have any reason to miss him a lot, but wasn’t he just going to have a minor injury?

I don’t know if it’s me not paying attention on these news or it’s a trend at Chelsea that players suffer a minor injury, the misteriously be absent for 6 months, without explanation.

Lesley Ugochukwu

An initial eight-week timeframe was put on Ugochukwu’s return from a hamstring injury suffered in late December.

The Blues have not provided any substantial update on his progress, instead only defining him as “continuing to undergo his rehabilitation programme”.

Potential return date: Unknown

Yeah, that’s what I mean.. Late December said 8 weeks, now it’s the 12th week of 2024, and no comments from the club. And he is not the only one. Lavia, Cucurella, Nkunku, Chilwell or Chalobah were all absent for much longer time then the club communicated. Or this is on purpouse communication strategy?

I think it's just another sign of our medical dept's incompetency. They can't estimate correctly nor are they capable of treating correctly.

Looks just like another ball-winning mid to me -- nothing special about his game. Hope it's just age and he improves, but that's what I see right now. Can't see him being an upgrade on Caicedo regardless how one rates the latter.
