Great technique and finish but the GKs positioning and attempt is awful, too slow on her feet, never had a chance.

Lauren James definitely amongst the very very best in Women’s football though - no doubts about it.

Absurdly stupid. No excuse really. Maybe that’s why she started first game from bench despite being the best attacker technically - not mature enough yet 
Will she get banned for 3 games as usual with violent conduct or do all cards get wiped after quarters? 

Anyway apart from the China goalfest England have been just as drab as the men this WC
