Johnnyeye 7,501
i feel like crying now watching this current team, i need to watch old clips and remember the good old days when Chelsea was a force to be reckoned with , full of winners, big players and characters, now we are a laughing stock. Hope it changes for the better Edited February 28, 2023 by Johnnyeye Fulham Broadway
Special Juan 28,141
That team had a spine and a burning desire to win at all costs. It had smatterings of very top class players but also ones who rolled up their sleeves and made themselves steely. Unlike this soft lot now with their pandered too ways Johnnyeye and OneMoSalah 1

Mário César 1,250
I asked how a team that played so well in two seasons in a row collapse in that way in 06/07 but at that time nobody knew that Mourinho thirds season are a disgrace sad that we could one at least one more major trophy in these years and we were quality to archieve good things but we haden't the right manager other season that hurts me a lot was 10/11 because United was so shit that year but we get out of players like deco, joe cole or ballack and don't replace them in the right way in that season lampard injury cost us a lot and we haden't no deep, plus Torres was a tremendous flop lucky that next season we won a ucl and was a miracle Edited March 5, 2023 by Mário César Johnnyeye

MoroccanBlue 5,380
We were kind of slowing down in the latter of 2007 season. Mourinho's lack of sustainable attacking impetus was showing and the team needed a resurgence somewhere. Ancelotti coming on in 2007/2008 season would of been mental. Mário César 1,250
after 2006, only in Conte's first year did we pass 90 points again in the league this in almost 20 years something bad has been done since then Johnnyeye

The problem with 2006-07 was that we got our transfers wrong. Sheva was busted. Boularouz wasn't up to it and didn't replace Gallas who prior was covering LB and CB - although Cole did upgrade us at LB. Then there was the issue with losing Cech to that horrid injury, Robben being injured a lot and wanting a move. Then Utd also had CR7 go supersonic that year. After that, our transfer activity in the next few seasons was very limited with it seeming that we thought we had enough and just needed a few squad players.
