How exactly is he injury prone? Pulisic is still new to the league, still adjusting to the higher intensity games etc but was asked to play 12 straight games. The fact that he mentioned about tiredness to Lampard and then suffered muscle injury only goes to reflect that. He clearly is still not conditioned to the demands of playing in this league yet.

How can you compare to Sheffield United? They have only played one game per week while we have been playing a game every 3-4 days for pretty much the entire season. Furthermore, so many players at the other clubs have gone down to injuries over the past month or so because of the sheer number of games they have to play.

too many games all at once!!

it is madness

it is really hurting the quality of football and the teams themselves, not to mention (obviously) the players

I HATE Liverpool, but it is ridiculous to force them to chose between the FWCC and the league cup

IF they had won the CS versus Shitty, they would have had a chance to be the first team in football to win 7 trophies not just linearly, but in the same season, ever, in major world football history

they will perhaps have the chance again next year (all they have to do (not easy) is to win the CL again and they have the same shot at the Septuple)

next year is their last year to have a truly (provided they win the CL and the EPL and the FA Cup, by far the 3 hardest things to do) decent shot, as the FWCC changes to a MUCH harder 24 team format in 2021 (we will be in it due to our EL win last season)

If an EPL teams pulls off a 2021 and beyond Septuple, that would be the greatest seasonal achievement in the history of team sports (even a 'regular' one now would perhaps be)

Finally, as it stands, we have all these fucking international breaks eating up weeks upon weeks, weeks that could be used to even out the schedule (and also avoid players getting hurt whilst playing for shit national teams on shit pitches in shit, often meaningless-in-reality games)

Might turn good but I'd be doubtful. Estonian league is not the greatest and it really doesn't take much to shine. The thing with playing in the mud leagues is that you need to have an impeccable work ethic and drive to keep working on yourself  and -to me- signing for MLS DC United feeder club doesn't show much ambition. He supposedly had offers from Eredivisie/Ekstraklasa/Russian Premier League/Scandinavian leagues, which in theory could have been a better stepping stone to be noted by the European scouts.

@NikkiCFC post was sarcastic I think :D Anyway, one rule with us Estonians - never sign us, we suck.

Because he's injured after 12 games 🤔

Chelsea version of Darren Anderton 🤣

Tiredness - honestly my heart bleeds for him.

Yeah they are playing the same games less European football - and nobody else is complaining, e.g. Liverpool... (played more games than us).

Proper little snowflakes we have in our team 👍

Little wonder we have no backbone and are easily bullied when our players are 'tired'... Never heard Drogs, Ballack, Frank or John say they were tired... I guess that's the difference between 'winners' and 'non-winners'... 👍

It's cool though- this is the modern world and I guess I just have to adapt my expectations accordingly...

It's funny how quick you called him 'injury prone' after one injury but have it your way.

Nobody else is complaining? A number of managers have complained about the fixture congestion and yes, even Klopp - https://www.thisisanfield.com/2020/01/jurgen-klopp-criticises-fixture-schedule-after-injuries-plague-premier-league/.

And for the record, Liverpool have their injury problems over the last month or so - Matip, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Keita etc.

More teams' injuries over the festive period - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50986483.

Feel like they should just get rid of the League Cup. Doesn't have much glamour and no team seem to even care much about it, not even the smaller teams.

Pulisic has a history at Dortmund and with the US team of small injuries lingering, or becoming worse. I think he has a lot more potential, but he is not proven to be a player that comes back from injury fast so far.

All the injuries you mentioned are minor ones. The most number of games he missed at Dortmund was 3.

And furthermore, players at Dortmund tend to get injured anyway. There's always someone injured every week. Our injury record overall is better than Dortmund's.

Only partly :D he does have impressive stats. Have you heard of him?

I've heard of him and possibly seen play for Estonian NT. His impressive stats come from the Estonian Premier League, which only says that he sucks less than the others. MLS? Big fat maybe. EPL? Never. I don't know in depth how he plays or whatever, but I don't need to, it's enough knowing he spent his youth training in Estonia.

Goal and assist for Dembele tonight.

4 goals and 3 assists for him in 260 minutes in 2020. I'm pretty sure club already knows does Werner wants to join us in the summer. If answer is no then go all in for Moussa. Michy and Olie out - Moussa in huge upgrade! It's quite concerning that after 32 games played this season our second best goalscorer have 6 goals. That's one goal in more than five games. Basically Willian's career record.
