Pizy 19,245 Posted Monday at 20:18 Share Posted Monday at 20:18 I feel like being a calm, composed, super comfortable on the ball CB is what should be pursued more than anything. Going after “physical/powerful” CB’s is what led us to buying dogshit like Tosin, Badiashile, Disasi, etc. And talking about buying someone to partner Colwill when we don’t even have any idea what he’ll be like is silly, too. For me we need a clear out and TWO new CB’s of a high level. bigbluewillie

I have NO idea why we do not go for Caicedo's countryman Joel Ordóñez for a good right-footed CB Of course my REAL want (for years now, since he was 16yo) for a right-footed CB is Luka Vuskovic but IF (relegation would so aid that) he leaves Spuds I doubt he comes here as every top 15 club in UEFA wants him
Vesper 31,034 Posted yesterday at 09:18 Share Posted yesterday at 09:18 EXCL: Chelsea now targeting players from PL clubs facing relegation Opportunities arising... https://siphillipstalkschelsea.substack.com/p/excl-Chelsea-now-targeting-players Chelsea’s decision makers are keeping a close eye on the Premier League standings at the bottom of the table as well as the top right now. This is because they are sensing some transfer opportunities from Premier League clubs facing relegation this season. Teams who will be relegated to the Championship this summer will need to look at selling a number of their key players, and Chelsea are already putting the work in on potentially trying to sign some of them. Below, we have the list of these players that Chelsea are looking at signing! Obviously we don’t know who will be relegated yet, and a lot can happen in the last six games of the season. But these are the players the club are looking into from some teams who could get relegated, as cited by SPTC Sources…. Wolves Mateus Mane (18-year-old attacking midfielder) Joao Gomes (25-year-old centre midfielder) Tottenham Lucas Bergvall (20-year-old centre midfielder) Mo Kudus (25-year-old winger/attacking midfielder) West Ham Mateus Fernandes (21-year-old centre midfielder) Crysencio Summerville (24-year-old winger) Jarrod Bowen (29-year-old winger/attacking midfielder) Nottingham Forest Murillo (23-year-old centre back) Morgan Gibbs-White (26-year-old attacking midfielder/winger) Elliot Anderson (23-year-old centre midfielder) On Anderson, source says ‘wont happen’. To add to this, another SPTC Source has said Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa is massively unlikely because other clubs are willing to pay more in wages and fees overall than Chelsea are. None mentioned from Burnley or Leeds United yet, although there has been recent interest from Chelsea in Maxime Esteve at Burnley, so that could possible be one to watch. mkh and OneMoSalah 1

The only player listed in the entire post above who might end up here is Mateus Mane of Wolves, IMHO. He has 'BlueCo Buy' written all over him. Forget Elliot Anderson, Murillo, and Morgan Rogers, especially if we miss out on CL (which is very likely, as IF we lose to Manure or Pool, we will not get CL, and if we lose to both, we may end up back in the Conferencr League or even with no Euro footie whatsoever. Those 3 players alone will cost around £250m. SUBZERO chance BlueCo will drop that type of dosh, plus none of those 3 would pick us over far better teams and offers. The BlueCo vultures are in perma youth/teen 'buy and flip' mode, and will sack any puppet who complains (as they already have shown they will do). They do not give a flying fuck about the club, other than how much money they can extract from its carcass. mkh

mkh 748 Posted yesterday at 11:25 Share Posted yesterday at 11:25 💥🔵Derry is class, should be playing for our first team now (at least off the bench) Frank Lampard has already outlined plans to secure a move for highly-rated Chelsea starlet Jesse Derry. (@GraemeBailey) Roefs coy on future Chelsea transfer linked Robin Roefs has been speaking out about the summer rumours linking him with a move to Stamford Bridge. The Northern Echo report that Roefs insists he wants to remain part of Sunderland’s “amazing” journey despite recent speculation linking him with a possible move to Chelsea. “I hope this is just the start of Sunderland’s story,” said Roefs, who returned from injury in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Tottenham. “It’s not really a time to think about things like moving or any rumours. As long as I don’t know anything about it, I just keep on going. “What we are building here is just really, really amazing. Being promoted and performing this way, we can only build on that and let’s hope next season we can continue like this.” 🗯🔵Chelsea are banking on Mike Penders returning from his loan at Strasbourg to make a big impression and nobody would dispute that the club need better goalkeeping options if they are to achieve their ambitions. Vesper 31,034
Sources: Some players wanting out openly talking about leaving - similar to Frank Lampard's time as interim Unhappiness in the camp and players eyeing moves away https://siphillipstalkschelsea.substack.com/p/sources-some-players-wanting-out On the surface it might look OK in the training pictures when players are smiling and having some banter, but behind the scenes, there is a chunk of unhappy players at Chelsea right now. Further to this, said unhappy players are actively exploring transfer moves away this summer. SPTC Sources have heard that there is a general unhappiness in the squad right now and overall, there isn’t a lot of trust that Liam Rosenior is the man to get them challenging on all fronts again. A top source has explained to us that the general feeling in the group of players wanting out has been similar to when Frank Lampard took the interim head coach role and players were just waiting out their time to leave the club in the summer. Some players have been openly talking about leaving the club in and around the dressing room and within their circles. This summer though, it will not be as easy for players to leave, and that is also causing tensions and concerns for the players. Enzo Fernandez, Marc Cucurella, and Cole Palmer have all been seriously eyeing the exit door. However, the likes of Palmer is concerned that the club will price him out of any move away this summer. On Palmer, another top source has told us yesterday that Arsenal are the latest club to have registered an interest in signing the England international. From a personal point of view, I can’t see him staying in London if he does leave Chelsea, because he has been quite home sick at times. Although, he might not have too many choices on where he does go, if he really does want out of the club. Palmer has not been causing any issues though and has continued to work hard and stay committed. Arsenal are planning to sell Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Ethan Nwaneri, and Mikel Merino this summer, and they want a ‘superstar No.10’ in the replace them. Palmer is on their list. Chelsea have had a recent interest in Nwaneri as well as Myles Lewis-Skelly, just for your info. Another player who is unhappy at Chelsea is Josh Acheampong. He’s become very frustrated with his lack of game time and even more frustrated that he was blocked from leaving on loan in January to get more playing time. He was keen to join an unnamed Championship club in the winter window but Chelsea blocked it. Further to this, sources say that even if Chelsea get Champions League football, the likes of Fernandez, Cucurella, and Palmer, amongst many others, will still be seeking an exit. The power of course remains with Chelsea on all of these players, with long contracts attached to all but Cucurella. There’s been many question marks now raised via our sources surrounding the overall finances at BlueCo and what we can actually now afford to do in the market - the debt has become a huge concern in how we operate going forward. One thing for sure is that with our plans to buy more new players this summer, some BIG sales are going to be needed, and many of them. We also desperately need UCL football. And finally, the unhappiness seeps down to the academy at Cobham as well. Some of the players in the academy do not see any chance of a pathway into the first team because of Chelsea signing many young talents from outside. Shim Mheuka has been mentioned to me as one of them who is very concerned. This info has all come from VERY good SPTC sources, so unfortunately it is just the stark reality of where we are right now. mkh 748
💥🔵Viktor Froholdt, the 19-year-old Danish central midfielder for Porto, is on the radar of several European giants, and Chelsea is among them, who may make a move in the summer if Enzo Fernández leaves the London club. Porto will only consider selling for a value close to his £74 million release clause. (@cmjornal) 🗯🔵🇵🇹 Gonçalo Inácio is attracting interest from major clubs. The 24-year-old central defender has drawn the attention of clubs in England (Chelsea, Liverpool, and Man United) and Spain. His release clause is £52 million, but it's negotiable. (@edu17burgos) 💨🔵Brighton are expecting to recoup at least £50m from Van Hecke, who is attracting interest from the Premier League. calculatingInfinity 1,493
Froholdt is not ready to replace Enzo, but idk who would be. I love him though. He's absolutely one of the most exciting young midfielders in Europe imo. I'm obviously biased from watching him come through Copenhagen, but I think he got what it takes to become a success at a big club. Would be a dream player for Simeone at Atletico. Good technical ability and an insane work rate, it's honestly mind blowing watching the way he keeps going throughout a whole match, and he will allow another midfielder to have more freedom. Great mentality too, always fighting on and getting on with it, instead of crying to the ref or blaming others. OneMoSalah 9,089
So certain academy players are worried about long term development/breaking through at the club. Sigh. I said this years ago when we started selling likes of Mount, Gallagher etc for PSR that it wouldn’t take long for academy players to get disillusioned/struggle to see why they’d stay here. The constant barrage of 16-21 year old signings from abroad again and again also a huge, huge issue for pathways from the academy. Supposedly had one of the best academies in Europe too... BlueCo gonna tear that to shreds also? Not to mention when you’re seeing shite footballers like Tosin or Fofana play when the club rejected a loan for you in the January, no wonder Josh wants out. 6 hours ago, mkh said: 💥🔵Viktor Froholdt, the 19-year-old Danish central midfielder for Porto, is on the radar of several European giants, and Chelsea is among them, who may make a move in the summer if Enzo Fernández leaves the London club.
